I'm 81 & has been a Dodger fan since I was 14 in Benavides,Texas. They were the Brooklyn Dodgers then. My father was always a Yankee fan then & we always argue about this. I'm a True Blue fan! My Dodgers were my babies then & they are still my babies now. Love you guys. Thank you for this series. I'm glad I didn't have a heart attack.
I'm about 40 years younger than you, and probably from a much different background, but you, me, and people in my nephew's generation are still connected by this one thing.

Its sad that everyone seems to have a recency bias... Ohtani literally broke records and single-handedly stepped up and carried the Dodgers through 162 games this season while others only stepped up for 5 games...😮 everyone seems to forget already that a recovering ace pitcher and reigning MVP literally had the most Homeruns and RBIs in the NL league, broke the 40/40 club and created the 50/50 club and even almost got the triple crown by coming in 2nd place for Batt average to 1st place by 0.04... but all of this is forgotten just because he had a slump during the World Series...😮 There would be no WS without him this year.
Bro, you’re judging that we don’t appreciate him, because of what? Dodgers won the World Series as a team. This isn’t a popularity contest. Every Dodgers fan knows Ohtani is the man. Every Dodgers fan knows Ohtani was injured most of the World Series. You talk about fans forgetting what an incredible season Ohtani had, and he was great in the playoffs. How about a player that gets a lot of smack talk, because he hasn’t performed well in the postseason, yet he has arguably has had the best regular season career ever by a Dodger, and that’s none other than Clayton Kershaw. So you don’t need to hype up Ohtani anymore like he was forgotten. Just think the Dodger fans are crazy about him, even though this is his first season with the Dodgers. His Jersey is the most popular selling jersey not only in MLB, but in Dodger Stadium.
LA is the place! There's always something going on in this city. Yes, sometimes the knuckleheads come out of the woodwork and stir up trouble, but this is the City of Champions, and home to some of the most remarkable residents any city could ask for. Keep up the good work Dodgers! See you here again next year!
Lol I mean, im a huge dodgers fan ...... But I lived in LA, .. And one shouldn't live there if you have the choice. Be a fan where you're not just a number in a city.
Baseball is always great, even when we had a bad teams we stuck it out and now we have a juggernaut and have been spoiled for a while , the city would be so much better if we got rid of the woke and homeless problem
I feel like the city felt very united today and it normally doesn't feel like that. Everyone came together to celebrate not just our first actual World Series parade since 88, but our city itself too. This feels like a true win.🔵⚪️
I am from the Bay Area SF. I don't even watch the warriors parade till the end. BUT LAD KNOWS HOW TO THROW THE CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE. Everyone speeches are organicly with different personality and super entertaining. WELL DONE!
I become a MLB and Dodgers fan at the beginning of 2017 season and when the Dodgers win the 2020 World Series I'm a little bit happy because it's pandemic and now I'm super happy because Dodgers become WS champion without Covid restrictions.⚾🏆 Let's go Dodgers!!!!
People can "try" to talk crap about Shohei's struggles in the Series. People need to look back over the season and see how Ohtani carried the team especially once moving into the lead off position. Ohtani was the Mule this season and it was incredible to listen on The Blowtorch!
Those Ohtani haters' comments are from the fan base of Yankees, Angels, As, Giants, Padres, Blue Jays, and Rockies. The whole troll was in the Dodgers live chat were spewing nonsense
We have real goat manager of world series winner.. Dave. Roberts.. He is so entertaining and has energy. Still young person doing again.. Great showmanship and communication with players and media as well. High quality game planner unbelievable
Been living in Hawaii since 1993 and still a Dodger fan. I actually lived across the street from Dodger Stadium on Lookout Drive. Feels so close to my old home today seeing this. It didn't worry about parking seeing a game there.
City of Dodgers and Los Angeles-the best side of the Westside, where we’re always on top. Good times when we’re together, one city, one Blue Nation. To the Boys in Blue, we love you all. I heard him being interviewed on radio today, and at one point he just answered the interviewer's question in english, lol. I'm guessing part of the reason he continues to do his interviews through an interpreter is so his fans back in Japan can hear him speaking in their language.
Lindo que hayan mencionado al gran Toro Valenzuela cómo leyenda de los Dodgers en su cumpleaños. Él hizo a los Dodgers el equipo de los latinos y mexicanos.
We need to bring Buehler back, he is the inspiration for all the new generation of young Dodgers' pitchers. What he did for the Dodgers organization(2020 and now) is special and he should be the face of the franchise pitching staff. The toughness, the personality, facing the challenges and headwinds, he is not second to anyone for this generation of Dodgers' pitchers.
If they do bring him back it has to be short term 1-2 yrs because after a yr they will get stone, river ryan back and they have more arm in the farm too, also gonsolin and may will be back 2025, im afraid buechler could be odd man out
@@don9733 The way the Dodgers manage their games. Dodgers would always need 2-3 teams of starting pitchers per season. Stone/River Ryan's stuff is good for regular season, post season you would need elite gutsy, not-just-good pitchers facing repeated high-leverage situations. I would give a 4 years contract but expecting 2-3 good post-seasons from Buehler if we can manage his workload/health as careful as Yamamoto's.
@@jamesjz918 i hope so but they have holes to fill like trying to resign teoscar, possibly edmond too, also they are looking for another elite arm ie rosaki, vesia i believe is another FA, not enough $$$ throwing around, we will see how the FO navigate this
