- When Oasis wakes up in the morning under her heat lamp, she often yawns and stretches her beard. It's super cute, and I finally caught it on video from my bed.

My baby used to do her morning stretching a lot, most of the time I would just observe but sometimes I did try to poke her beard.
She always managed to deflate her beard before I could haha

Haha aww, thanks! Yeah, Oasis will deflate her beard if I approach her tank, too. She wants her privacy in the mornings, apparently.🤣

Mine did this and I got scared cause I was petting it. He was going to sleep tho, and his bearded did not turn black so I’m pretty sure it was a yawn.
Aww, yeah, that would've made me nervous, too! Haha but you're right. No black beard means he just fine.😁

Ours did this, this morning and I thought he was stressed. What exactly does this mean? This is the first morning with us.
I can't say for sure what it means, but based on my experience with Oasis for the last 3 years, she does this almost every morning shortly after her lights come on and she wakes up. I've always guessed it was her way of stretching and yawning and warming up after a good night's sleep. Congratulations on your new dragon! How exciting!😄
