- I've always loved the tiki room at Disneyland and was inspired to make my own barker bird. He's made from an old Squawkers McCaw and a Squawker Talker board from www.audioservocontroller.com
I hand painted his face, beak and claws and glued feathers and fur to his wings as well as hand made a collar, bow tie and crocheted a custom hat out of raffia. Развлечения
Impressive job with the feathers! The stock one-sie is very hard to work with for modification
Great job!

Nice! I have a squawkers macaw and i was gonna make it into the Galaxy theme with a posable feathered Raptor-like tail! :)

How Did You Make It Lip Sync With The Audio ? I have a Macaw Here And I’m Trying To Rewire It To Something Like This
D55 check out the info in the description of the video.
Do you still use the remote with it?
How did you wire it to do that 2020
What type of paint did you use on his face?
Dan Banks I just used cheap acrylic like you get for 99 cents a bottle at your local craft store, it's kind of watery so it took probably 4 or 5 coats to hide the black stripes. It dries hard so it's no longer cuddly, but since this is a display piece versus a stuffed animal to cuddle with I didn't care. Make sure to let it dry between coats. Used the same on the beak but used a clear spray paint to seal it
