- We're back with another budget weekend away! Join us for our second and final vlog about Poznan - it's fair to say, a lot can change in 24 hours (weather wise anyway).
In this vlog, we took a walk to Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski), and visited Brama Poznania which is great to find out more about the history of Poland and Poznan - bramapoznania.pl
We also got to go to the Rogalowe Croissant Museum which was a particular highlight! rogalowemuzeum...
We stayed at Hotel Stare Miasto which cost us £64.97 for the night - www.tripadviso...
Flights were £36.86 return (Sat - Sun) with Ryanair.

As a Brit who speaks a little Polish “Stare Miasto” literally translates as ‘old town’ so the name of the hotel was ‘Old Town Hotel’
You will also find that most cities in Poland will have a stare miasto district in the city centre and these are generally the tourist hot spots. Great vid, thank you. 🤙

@@travelwithrae yeah definitely and a lot if European cities have amazing (so much better than the UK) public transport links at very affordable prices. This makes it so much easier hopping around the city and can see/do so much more so effectively and efficiently. Yeah thanks for the vid, Gil going to Poznan for the first time in a couple of months and stumbled upon it though the algorithm. I’ll be sure to check out some more of your vids 🤙
