Hey now, that is my question too, Do all cars eventually have this problem? Or is it Jeeps that are more prone to this issue? I think you are right about a better design could have put less stress and bend angle.
You've got some youngster jeeps there. Mine is a 95 and I pulled a wire set off a well preserved 98 junker driver side about 10 years ago. And I just started noticing a rear window failure. Here I go again.
I didn't know Jeeps were a thing in Aus. Thanks for the video and greetings from USA.

I have played with cars my whole life and this is the first vehicle I've had this problem with. So yeah I guess it's a Jeep thing lol. It is definitely a design problem. These wires are not meant to be moving all the time but stationary. Any metal including copper will go brittle and break when bent enough times. Yep Jeeps are very popular here in Oz. They are everywhere. The first one I drove was a wrangler some 17 years ago. It was brand new and it was raining. I nearly crashed it. It was sliding all over the place I did not like it. I brought my first WJ some 10 years ago to fix and flip. I still have it lol and a few more. Thanks for watching my channel 👍
