Fellow Canadian here in B.C. Just heard of the new Quartz today and your the first review i came across. Sounds very promising for a budget paddle from a reputable company. Appreciate your review.
Thanks for the tips. I think checking out the specs is valuable. The ruby I have is I belive 8.0oz. plays very nice so I'm sure this entry level paddle will be of the same quality
Ya, they weren't published when I did the review. although will be on the website when the cart opens up at 6PM EST. Mine was 7.9 oz. If feels a lot lighter than my ruby, but I put a Siz Zero overgrip on top of the regular grip on that, so I think my ruby is about 8.4
I’m super glad I ran across your channel! I’m new to pickleball and learning about the equipment is important! Your review is easy to follow and full of good info! Thank you!
Wide bodies seem to be making a big comeback these days. 11Six24 has come out with 3 called the Monarch line. We have discount codes for them too: PBToday
Thanks for the quick and concise review of the paddle! I dont understand all the pop and power tests so it's nice to know the general feel and play of the paddle 👍🏼
Agreed. Over the last year high end prices have been getting nuts (gen 3 joola's etc.) so it's nice that a high end name brand producer like Six Zero had put their skills and research into a sub $100 paddle.
New subscriber & thinking of going edgeless with a Six Zero or CRBN… thanks for the opportunity with this contest & paddle review. The Quartz colours make this attractive and the price point is fair for this release. Good luck to all entries and picklers! 😊👍
this seems like the exact paddle I've been on the search for, I have an issue with over powering shots and I'd like to use a small handled control paddle to alleviate that problem while still allowing my full swing and follow through! I appreciate your videos fully!
The cart is now open for people to get the paddle. Our code should be automatically applied. But if not Code: PICKLEBALLTODAY will give you a 10% discount and free shipping on orders over $100. pickleballtoday.co/six-zero
Ya, you don't see many. Even a senior doing reviews at all is rare. I decided to put myself out there, as I'm a pretty average player. Even though I'm older that most, people can probably relate to my level of play. Let's face it. If someone is great, they can make any paddle look good.
I have the 6.0 Ruby 16mm and love it. Looking to get something for the girlfriend and saw on 6.0's Instagram that they were promoting the Quartz. Seems like a very good value control paddle. Your review was informative.
Im hoping that i can win one. I was about to buy a new paddle and then my house was hit by a tornado 😢 so im having to save for the deductible sadly instead!
Ya, me too. It's so easy to hit well with it. Unfortunately I'm off with an injury for a bit so it won't be for a few weeks for me. Hopefully sooner for you.
Ya the kids were having a blast. I thought maybe I could eliminate the background noise, but they were louder than me, so that wouldn't work. Anyway, I learned another skill in my video editor.
I agree with this. Most beginners don't want to spend $200 on a paddle, and often end up with a junk paddle from walmart. This one at $80 is a major step up in quality and playability I think.
Hi Danielle, If you are looking for control and like a regular shaped paddle, then yes, I would think so. If you are looking for control but with more power, then I think the Fat Boy would be a better choice. We have a review of the Fat Boy on our channel too, but it is a more expensive paddle than the Quartz.
I like so far what I'm reading and seeing on this paddle. Great review by the way.
Thanks very much
Love 6 Zero paddles, and love the multiple color options!

Thanks very much George. Ya, I think this a good one for the money, that's for sure. Nice to hear from you. Cheers

Can’t wait to win some games with the Quartz!
A QUARTZ, plus letting the other guys make the mistakes, might be the formula, right?
I’m super glad I ran across your channel! I’m new to pickleball and learning about the equipment is important! Your review is easy to follow and full of good info! Thank you!
Welcome aboard Brandon! Thanks a lot. You may enjoy our podcast too. Lots of good lessons and tips.
Just released today. Great price for a great paddle!
Yep, we think so, and it's still in stock and availble.
Haven't try a wide body paddle before but sure looks like a fun one to play with from the play video
Wide bodies seem to be making a big comeback these days.

Six Zero is my favorite brand and am looking forward to the Quartz paddle ! Love my triple black diamond
The Willinator is a lot of fun. I dig mine too.
One of my 2 favourite brands for sure.
Thanks for the quick and concise review of the paddle! I dont understand all the pop and power tests so it's nice to know the general feel and play of the paddle 👍🏼
Glad it was helpful! Thanks
Love your insight with the paddle! Thank you for your review and content!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks.
I'm a new player, and I'm definitely considering this paddle. Thanks for the review!
No problem. It's definitely a great choice for newer players, becauce usually control is what you need when you are starting out.
Short and sweet....well done.
Glad you liked it!
These new value paddles are exciting!

Nice review, looks good and sure will try this paddle ! All the best for you and your wife !!!
Thanks a lot Peter. I appreciate your kind wishes.
Nice review. As a budget paddle, it will be interesting to see how it compares to the Vatic Pro Prism Flash.
Great to see you play and honest review! All the best for you and your wife!!
Thanks Breanna. I appreciate that. Cheers.

I've not played the CRBN. So I can't compare. Good luck. and thanks for your support.
Big fan of control paddles
I'm going that direction.
thank for the review!!
Awesome review! I was looking forward to this paddle. An affordable option that looks amazing and plays great!
We agree on both counts. Thanks for stopping by.

Great. They are available now if you haven't ordered one yet. I hope you like it. I'm very pleased with mine.
Great review! The new colorways are fascinating
Ya, they are cool. Apparently, they are the 6 colors of quartz. (who knew)
This looks awesome! Thanks for the review
thanks very much.
I’m playing the ruby at the moment, but it’s nice to have a cheaper option to recommend to beginners or intermediates.
agreed.
Nice review…..hoping this will be my next paddle….again thanks for the review 👍
I'm considering this paddle!
I love the value paddles coming out- I currently play with the (now legacy) Mark Pure, and the Quartz is calling my name. :)
Nice. I've heard of it but never played it. I really do like the Quartz, but I will definitely add some weight to it going forward.
Excited to try this paddle! We need more of these mid range paddles of great value!
Definitely! We agree.
This paddle looks like it has a solid pop to it, considering Getting it for sure !
Ya, it really does. I want to add a touch of weight for a little more power, but pop off the face is great.
The cart is now open for people to get the paddle. Our code should be automatically applied. But if not Code: PICKLEBALLTODAY will give you a 10% discount and free shipping on orders over $100.

So sad we missed you at Corte - love the facility!
Love the review! I’ve been trying out six zero recently and would love to get my hands on one of these soon. Seems like a great paddle!
Definitely a good one for the money.
Just found pickleball - such fun!
Welcome to a whole new world Matt!
Definitely looking forward to trying this one out
Enjoyed a review by seniors.

Loving the sub $100 price point with excellent value!
absolutely. With some paddles going up into the $350 range these days, this is a nice reality check.
I have the 6.0 Ruby 16mm and love it. Looking to get something for the girlfriend and saw on 6.0's Instagram that they were promoting the Quartz. Seems like a very good value control paddle. Your review was informative.
Very cool. It's definitely a great choice. It's not a Fat Boy, but it's a lot more affordable option.
Great review
Thanks very much.
It looks like a good paddle.
Im hoping that i can win one. I was about to buy a new paddle and then my house was hit by a tornado 😢 so im having to save for the deductible sadly instead!
Good luck. Ya, a tornado must make you think of cutting back on other expenditures.
Hope all is well.
God Bless.
@@PickleballTodayCanada yeah for sure it rearranges priorities
nice paddle looks great for the value
Ya, we think so too.
Looking forward to trying the Quartz!
Six Zero gets a lot of my respect for this release.
Ya, they didn't have to go to this price point. And it's a nice paddle.
Cant wait to pick up this paddle
Ya, me too. It's so easy to hit well with it. Unfortunately I'm off with an injury for a bit so it won't be for a few weeks for me.
Hopefully sooner for you.
Great drilling!
Thanks. That's a fun drill. Marked talked about it on one of our recent podcasts. I really like it.
Thanks for going the extra mile to re-record the voiceover on this video, and for letting the kids be kids and play! :)
Ya the kids were having a blast. I thought maybe I could eliminate the background noise, but they were louder than me, so that wouldn't work.
Anyway, I learned another skill in my video editor.
Looks like a pretty nice paddle
Nice review! Sending prayers to you and your family.
Thank you so much! We really appreciate that.
Great reviews!
I’ve been waiting for this review! I like a light weight paddle so I weight them up myself.
I agree Matty.
This looks nice for someone on a budget
Ya. I think so too.
Nice, this looks like a top seller for the entry-level price point!
Agreed. I think this will be a big seller for Six Zero.
Nicely done. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Great review. Hope to win the giveaway!

Very eager to get this paddle, was this filmed at corte
Yep. Corte in Kitchener
Great deal!!
This will be the ultimate paddle for newer players
I agree with this. Most beginners don't want to spend $200 on a paddle, and often end up with a junk paddle from walmart.
This one at $80 is a major step up in quality and playability I think.
First comment and first winner 😅
Thanks for the first look
We love the optimism. Good luck!
Good review would be interested in the specs on it
Ya, I haven't seen them published yet. I expect SIc Zero will have them up in a day or so.
subscribed.. good review.
Love the 6 zero series
Nice review
Thanks!
nice review!
Thanks!
New value paddle contender!
definitely!
Nice review! I hope I win!
Good luck!
Do you think it’s a good paddle for women?
Hi Danielle,
If you are looking for control and like a regular shaped paddle, then yes, I would think so. If you are looking for control but with more power, then I think the Fat Boy would be a better choice. We have a review of the Fat Boy on our channel too, but it is a more expensive paddle than the Quartz.
@@PickleballTodayCanada thanks! Will check it out!
Sweet pricing. Undercutting the Vatic Pro Prisms 🫨
Yep. The Vatic is another very good paddle.
Very nice review!
Good review !
Thanks!
