Really appreciate that you explain certain stitches, by slowing down, and stating each step. Example: Go through, yarn over, pull up a loop and then counting the loops. I don't crochet every day, so I often need a refresher on each stitch. Thank you. Mine turned our pretty darn good

This is a wonderful tutorial! I haven't crocheted in many, many years (I am a knitter!), but your instructions were so clear and easy to follow. These are going to make wonderful Christmas gifts!

I also think starting with a Magic circle (find on youtube) is so much better than starting with chains because after a few rows you can really pull the hole - tight and it gets so small!

Thanks for the tutorial. I thought this yarn would be alot more difficult to work with. I definitely plan on making more of these.

I have never seen this yarn or material, it's awesome and it looks like it would be easier to use than the scrubby yarn! I am going to get some and make some of these, they look really strong and tough. Great tutorial Alana, thank you! 💗💕💖

😊 I Love You tutorial it was so easy to follow I just made one fingers are sore but that's the price you pay I think it's really going to be a nice scrubby and with the price of the yarn scrubby material whatever you call it it's only going to be for family and again I thank you for your tutorial and I hope I see more of your tutorials thank you again

Crochet a small handle for the back with cotton yarn, then that way you will save all 10 fingers 😊!

I really appreciate that you have a video to follow the pattern. I'm wondering if using a tension ring to get the yarn off your finger would help? Definitely gonna try b/c i know a lot of people who could use these

The recipients of your scrubbies should appreciate them due the scratchy yarn used. Great video.

I used to strength of that and it didn't hurt my fingers at all but I've been doing it with the mesh for years so I guess my fingers are a little tougher

I used one skein held double and used about 3/4 of the skein. So you can get 1 out of 1 skein held double. Maybe 2 if you used 2 skeins held double

Why would you not use it on skin? I was looking to crochet body Loofahs would you not tecommend this yarn. If not can you recommend an alternative yarn? I've tried 100% cotton it takes forever to dry & shower gel does not foam up at all

It's tricky if your tensions are different as you end up with two different sizes! Been there, done that.
I like the idea of doing both sides in one piece, but the video is too fast for me and at times misses the camera altogether!

You can pull from the center and outside and hold it double. That's what I did. I got 1 scrubby out of 1 skein with, maybe a 1/4 left of material
