I was going bald, now I'm going on an adventure
I'm only 30 and pretty much 90% bald. I just buzz it myself weekly and save so much money on hair cuts now! Hats are the best for style expression and stopping those daily sun burns.
Confidence is a state of mind. Once you find that inner confidence it projects from everything you say and do! Great Vid Casey!
Rob Pitts thanks Rob!
Rob Pitts YOU THE MAN RABBIT.
So hard not to read this in Rob's voice, stay awesome dude
Man if I ever find myself passing through town, lunch is on me!
This is probably one of the best videos on self-esteem, confidence, and what being a man is really about.
Great words Casey, thanks!
That was a great message
Right on Casey.
I've been super impressed with your content, to the point where I've commented a few times out of pure support for the message.
Definitely more depth too it than the average car RUclips channel.
Please keep up the great work. I and many others it seems are enjoying it immensely.
Thank you!
that was powerful. keep putting out great content, Casey.
Thank you!!!! Will do! Keep watching and sharing.
My wife left me for another man years ago. I was balding and 50. I have never been great looking, just average, in my opinion. I discovered to my surprise that women wanted to date me. I had a important job and I believe women liked me because of my quiet confidence. My daughters thought so too. The women I dated after divorce were all accomplished and beautiful. In my experience, women are better about seeing beyond looks then men. As for balding, the more hair I lost, the closer the cut.
Forget about going bald, that was just flat out good life advice.
Subscribed, thanks for being my favourite story teller 😁
This content was awesome
Been watching you for sometime now and you cool bro
Whenever I get a chance to come to the USA I have to meet you.
Keep the awesome videos coming
Absolutely nailed it in this video!
I went completely bald in my late 20's... it's really not that big of a deal. I was literally the only person that cared about my hair (or lack thereof) and I gained a lot of confidence by embracing the meaningless criticism I received and running with it. I went bigger, weirder, BALDER! Grew a bushy Tom Selleck mustache, wore slim cut clothing and Italian ankle boots, and giant sunglasses. My confidence in how I present myself is endearing to people, and is a kind of genuine IDGAF attitude that is blended effortlessly with crafting an exaggerated sense of style... almost a caricature. When I dress to the nines; it's unique, and I look at myself in the mirror and say "Damn, son. You're lookin' goooood!"
I am starting to get a little fat though. Gotta start exercising.
Great frickin video Casey. I like all your car stuff but this needed to be said. 😁✌
As fellow bald man I enjoyed and took a lot from this, thanks Casey. I decided to shave what was left and honestly I think I look better. Never had good hair anyway. My very beautiful gf also prefers me bald.
Good video sir!
this is incredible advice
I started going bald when at 18. Started shaving my head at 20. Now at 23, I can’t recall the last time I had to worry about a bad hair day.
Same, I started going bald at 17, shaved it at 18 and now I'm 20. I feel more confident than I ever have and I even get compliments about my looks. I believe shaving it off was the best decision I made and if anyone is on the fence about it they should just do it.
Nice message! Good Job!
Cheers!
Have always enjoyed your vinwiki stories but your new vlog style is taking it to another level! Great video! -another young balding guy 😎
Had the 80s hair band look going on till I hit basic training in 1990. Loved the buzz cut and have been rocking it ever since. Haven't paid for a haircut in all these years. And like you said, the ladies dig bald guys.
Another good video Casey. On another note... I've now seen 765, 611, and 1218 in your videos. Your goal for this Summer should be a road trip to Chicago to see 4014. I made the trip out to Wyoming a few weeks back to see the engine on Sherman Hill and it is a true engineering marvel. Not sure if you listen to podcasts but I invite you to check out my podcast Notch 6. I focus mostly on O gauge trains, but have a few really good episodes with the crew from 611 from excursions in 2017. Hope you'll check it out.
Derek Thomas that sounds awesome!
Thank you brother
You are great bro🙏👍
This really gives me hope for my future
I'm 34, went bald in my early 20s. This is very true that confidence is what matters. You only get made fun of about your baldness if you are insecure about it because people will be able to see that. If you are insecure then fake it until you make it applies.
thanks man
yo casey do be lookin' fresh
Let's hear more about the sailing adventure...
nice video:)
Good on you man.! I have fuck tons of hair... And I am pulled up and bunned.... Since the mid 90s.... And if I would do different? I'd go full shaved... .. I am with you!
Great video Casey, and hair has nothing to do with confidence.
I have such bad social anxiety I’d be scared to death to even walk into that salon with all those people in there!
It’s cool seeing your real personality. Much more humanist than the perception of you from VINWiki (though entertaining and cool). 👍
EYE OPENER👁👃👁
👅
I come here to know about your confidence and when i watch your new videos your start wearing hat may be your confidence is gone now!!
I'm sure the barber was hoping Benjamin Franklin was bald.
About 6 months ago i decided to completely shave my head. I was scared, my hair was so thin that it was a decision that required 100% commitment - if i cut it off it is not going to grow back any time soon. Eventually i grew a set, manned up and went to the barbershop.
Walked out of the barbershop 3 inches taller, and 3 inches longer ;)
I learned that day that my entire perception of myself, is completely fabricated. How and why did having "shit hair" make me less confident than having *no hair* ? The rest of me still looks like a first draft drawing of shrek.
I now shave my head twice weekly, being bald and having a shaved head is just part of my daily life, nothing has changed, and my girlfriend still hasnt noticed the extra 3 inches.
Still pulling for you in 2024 @caseyputsch
Corey Shaffer write me in brother! I want to see it. :) but really, don’t waste a vote for humor. They all matter!
He reminds me of George from Seinfeld.
this guy is ridiculously fucking confident
You forgot to mention that combover doesn't fool anyone...lol just own it.
cope
Late comment but for all my taller men out there I always say God gave me height but took off some of the hair lol.
Hey when you've already gone bald going grey doesn't mean fuck all . That was my comeback for any bald jokes I recieved when I was younger
Barber got a great tip
Wondered if anybody else noticed that note that slid into his cash register. Lol
Gru from the Minions.
Hack even the Minions are bald 👨🏽🦲
Moby? 😐
Hell yes, Moby!
You forgot.... SCOTTY KILMER 😂😂
I’ve never in my 50 years seen a man be nervous about having a perfect head of hair...@2:10 the poor barber feels left out?
I think bald heads are awesome...hair is a bother.
I'm 36 and have been shaving my head since middle school. I thought it was a flex on all those guys going bald ahead of time, like lol, y'all worried about something I'm getting rid of voluntarily.
Well last month I couldn't be bothered to shave my head and the harsh truth is, I'm not only balding, I'm balding really unfortunately - in blotches, like a chemo patient and the little hair I have left is GREY.
FML.
He would look better with a bald head in my opinion. But I'm not his wife. So whatevs.
Geting bold...grow beard and be a man.
Lies all lies
Just get a hair transplant. Boom -- done!
Just own it. Boom - done!
@@CaseyPutsch Thanks for the response. I hear what you're saying. Just speaking for myself: I'm too ugly though -- and the rest of my body got the short end of the stick in the gene-pool lottery, too. Not making excuses -- it's just the reality of things that I've accepted. I'm making the best of what I've got, working out, etc -- but I'm definitely gonna have to get the transplants. It's not "the hair" so much, or lack of confidence, or self-worth -- more like trying to make improvements where I can, if the opportunity arises.
