SHUN'EI
We were fortunate that Crane's natural voice was a great voice match for Shun'ei's seiyuu, so no problems here!
BENIMARU
NikkoVA gave Benimaru that hint of Quinton Flynn while giving him a charming youthful voice that matched the seiyuu.
MEITENKUN
LeekWhibble was able replicate a very difficult voice to begin with! More impressive is how natural all her snoring was!
ASH
We wanted a slightly more smug interpretation that can transition into buttery WHILE being able to give Ash some French thrown in... a lot to ask but ActorsAllusion answered our prayers and delivered in every way!
ELISABETH
AlchemicWaking's English accent really allowed Elisabeth to stand apart from all the other mid-ranged stoic Fighters in the roster.
KUKRI
We were having a problem getting the right voice for Kukri until SargeRay threw in an audition for consideration and we were shocked! we didn't think he could pull off edgy-boy voices!
KYO
Crane employed his patented "Squall" voice and it fit Maeno's iconic Kyo voice like a glove! From the cockiness to the yells!
CHIZURU
Tiffany (DorkSensei) has this voice that borderlines sexy and pure and lo and behold! A perfect combination for ms Kagura!
IORI
We've seen many fancasts that had many great suggestions for an English dub Iori but one idea that we didn't see was Liam O'Brian!
K'
We wanted to give K' a much darker tone. So we got Nathan South to give him a little more rasp and a little more edge.
MAXIMA
we went for the gentle giant direction and had SargeRay do his thing!
WHIP
We elected to give Whip a more stern tone which Mercedes Lewis did perfectly!
ISLA
We wanted that sorta Latin mixed with some Hip Hop flair. And we were very lucky to have TygressLaryah bring some authenticity to Isla.
HEIDERN
We saw a fancast from head Canon voices suggesting Keith Silverstein and we were hooked!
DOLORES
We borrowed Echo-S's very own Sorceress Edea VA to bring this mystic to life. CrimsonShadowVA nailed it!
ANDY
We wanted Anime Handsome hero voice... so we picked up RyusukeVA from Writer's Block productions!
JOE
Ferren is known for many edgy characters like Vincent Valentine. So it was so satisfying to get him to rile as Joe unleashed!
TERRY
The moment we heard Crash Star VA's audition we KNEW he was a perfect match for Terry's seiyuu!
RYO
MamgoPunch gave him the right amount of "hero" and that fine tuned amount of youth we wanted for Ryo!
ROBERT
we got DolletVA to use his smooth voice for this smooth fighter!
KING
ShadowleafTV has been killing it in the VA game so we gave them a role fit for royalty! Also gave Kibg much more sex appeal in our honest opinion...
YASHIRO
So we wanted to give him a sorta Troy Baker kinda voice.
SHERMIE
NekovenomVA was just a shoe in for her. a great match for the seiyuu.
CHRIS
we know that he's voiced by a female in JP but we wanted to give him a young male voice instead. Good thing Laska answered our prayers!
ATHENA
We were having a difficult time with this one... until TailoredVoices appeared and did a voice we never expected out of her! now the Idol is alive!
YURI
Bee does many great voices but our favorite is when she does sassy youthful girls like Yuri!
MAI
This one we could NOT get wrong. a lot of fancasts suggested very mature sounding actresses like Christina Valenzuela but we gave this to Snowlette. Her voice is the goldilocks perfect blend for Mai. Seriously, just listen to how well she matches the seiyuu!
RALF
SargeRay being an absolute MAN in this role!
CLARK
Ferren giving Clark the ham he deserves!
LEONA
Nichole Goodnight, a twitch streamer, really got those role down. The stillness really matches the seiyuu.
RAMON
We wanted an accent and we got it!
KING OF DINOSAURS
OmegaOptimusSupreme in his comfort monster role!
ANTONOV
Harax really going in on the ham and accent!
ANGEL
Iris did a literal one-for-one voice match for Angel! complete with cat puns!
KROHNEN
JonFrost gave us that AKIRA vibes so duh, we had to do it...
KULA
Ohmiyamoto sounded sooo much like the seiyuu! uncanny!
BLUE MARY
Alchemic bringing Mary to life with her natural tone!
LUONG
Saexy brought the boys to the yard with this one. Check out her TikTok if you don't believe us.
VANESSA
CrimsonShadowVA. enough said.
GATO
Arkham really gave Gato that consistent deep voice Gato needed.
ROCK
So we put Rei through the fire having him do many interpretations but landing on a JYB inspired take on Rock.
B JENET
Arietta is a perfect match! listen!
GEESE
we know Richard Epcar played him in the past and we wanted to reprise that!
BILLY
Lash finally gave him a Britush accent he sooo needed.
YAMAZAKI
Dio Brando mixed with Joker.
RUGAL
Peter Cullen. so we HAD to call Aussieroth!

This is among the highest quality of fighting game dubbing that I’ve seen to this day. Huge props to Terry’s dub from CrashStarVA. I never expected for someone to pull off Terry that similar than the one we’re used to.
Yeah Crash is a star! He's the best Terry we could've hoped for!
My favorites are Terry, Yashiro, Clark, Joe, King, Robert, Athena, Blue Mary, Mai, Geese, Rock, Angel, Ralf, Krohnen, K', Ramon, Omega Rugal, Shun'ei, Meitenkun, Isla, Kyo and Dolores. They sound splendid.
Joe and Ramon were the perfect fits

Wow the person you got for Meitenkun sounds almost exactly like the Japanese VA 😯There were a few others like that in your cast, but this one just stood out to me the most. Very impressive.
Also really weird comment, but Maxima is giving off some strong Buzz Lightyear vibes to me, and I don't really know why 🤣I think it's the combination of the voice you gave him and his design, but that's probably just me.
B. Jenet also looks like she was inspired by that one woman from One Piece (At least I'm pretty sure that's where she's from. I've never watched the anime but I know her from that Jump Force game that came out a few years ago). Her outfit especially, and the fact that she's described as being a pirate even more so.

I kiiiinda wish more characters had apparent accents, as much as Ramón or Antonov. Aside from that, I love this and I can't wait for its release.
SargeRay as Geese is pretty much perfect since his tones are way closer to Richard Epcar. It's what I can hear since Epcar did voice Geese's English lines in Tekken 7.

First I thought it was deleted dub (just like KOF13 had English dub but wasn't added in the game), but then notice is fan made and still awesome and honestly you guys nail it in some characters. Great job.

I'm in awe ---what an incredible array of talent on display here! Everyone--take your bows! I'm looking forward to more of these dubs (but I still don't like wrestling shows in real life. Go figure.)
I would really cherish the day that KOF XV gets an well-produced English dub. Like, I'm absolutely fine with just the Japanese voices, but I've always been much of a dub person so it would be of great pleasure to hear the KOF characters speak English with better direction, hehe.
With that in mind, I really love a lot of the voices! Admittedly, I found some of them weird or off, too, but it's because I've always imagined them to sound how the way I think based on the VAs I think suits them. Some also feel like they sound better with their battle cries, the other with the normal dialogue, but nonetheless they're very great impressions!
I particularly like the ones for Benimaru, Maxima, Joe, Ryo, Athena, Mai, Ralf, KOD, Krohnen, Rock and Geese. Props to Geese's in particular for sounding a lot like Richard Epcar!
Mai may be my personal favorite here because I never could think of how she might sound in English, haha. Her voice always struck out something so unique about it that I think I've never heard off of any English VAs I've heard lol
Overall, very awesome! It makes me happy that there are people who share the same want as people like I do! Looking forward to how you guys handle the future DLCs!

Oh yes we actually spent quite a lot of time casting these. Mai in particular, we were in the same predicament as you! So we are quite happy with who we cast and what we made her sound like. She's basically our head Canon for Mai now!

I'm glad that you liked my performance as Krohnen. I didn't get as many lines recorded as some of the other actors were able to but I hope you look forward to when I end up recording all of the lines for the full mod (or at least my section of it). :)

Only nitpick I feel like making is that I feel like Angel and Jenet both need a bit of an accent to stand out a little more in the dub, but besides that, splendid job all around! Would love to see a full English Dub mod.
Yeah, we try to stay true to their Japanese VAs and they tend to fall to the way of their archetypal anime conventions, especially in terms of pitch and tone. I'm actually glad that areas that we've exercised some creative liberties with accents (like Antonov and Ramon) really gives us more confidence to take more of those liberties. It would be a (hell of a) lot of work recording the battle grunts, win quotes, etc, but if this could be a mod it would be awesome considering the work put in.
That's actually what we're trying to do here! We've managed to put kyo and Mai but we need a lot of help and/or resources. But it is something we are trying to do

Good lord, I hadn't realised how incredibly high pitched Billy Kane's JP voice was. I feel like a bloody baritone suddenly. Amazing stuff all over though :D

Im curious if the direction for Terry came from any previous versions? Like Capcom Vs SNK. Imo those are the best jp voice lines for Terry, and these dub ones gave me a similar vibe

yeah, we had to rescript a lot of the lines because if not then they get too redundant through out the dub. Too many "you can't beat me" "let me show you" "take this" x20 😂
I don’t know if I like that Angel quote mentioning her age.
Seems like the kind of thing a localizer would take out just because.
I mean it IS something she actually says. It's a bit uncomfortable for most westerners since age of consent is typically 18 or 21 haha
In my opinion:
The english voices for Meitenkun, Robert, Yashiro, Shermie, Mai, Leona, Kula, Blue Mary, Luong and Geese are my favorites.
On the other hand the english voices for Chizuru, K', Whip, Isla, Heidern, Terry, Chris, Clark, Angel, Jenet and Billy are not good or don't fit the character.
The rest are okay.
Still, It was cute seeing the work of fans to make an eng. fandub

The English cast for these characters should remain voicing them. They did such a phenomenal job. 12:36 again I just love the English voice for Rock Howard. I really pray ReiofLight remains voicing Rock. He's just so phenomenal and astonishing when he does it. I don't know what right words to describe how incredible it was.💗💗💗💖💖💖🌟🌟🌟✨✨✨💘💘💘💓💓💓💞💞💞💕💕💕💝💝💝
