There might be a reason for the abrupt ending in how can say. The song is literally about not being able to say something and the last line is "how can i..." CUT. It's very cool in my opinion.
Letting go is one of my favorites. It’s beautiful, the harmonies and melodies (and Wonpil is so handsome in the Daydream era), but there’s a final version where Young K doesn’t do his rap part and they usually sing this version. The "What chu doing" thing of I Wait: in the MV there is Dowoon but the harmonies in the audio are made by other guys. Dowoon has an incredibly deep voice, once you hear it you can’t go wrong. I think Young K is so cool with his bass because he joined JYP as a guitarist, then when Jae arrived they changed his role to bassist, but I think he still has the coolness of the guitarist. Dowoon’s arms have a religion of their own 🤣 And yes, their songs are all damn good. As for Jae: I am and will always be a My Day, and I love my guys and their beautiful voices, but I miss Jae’s voice in DAY6 songs so much. It was the most airy and gave an even greater sense of variety to the group’s harmonizations. I will never tire of saying how good the guys are and what wonderful voices they have, but with Jae I think they touched perfection. As for the guides I recommend "A useful guide to DAY6" from wonpilates and for the future all wonpilates contents (amazing and so funny) and "Introduction to DAY6 2020 guide" from uaenaday11. Waiting for an updated guide.
The point of all the instraments in letting go is that there is an empty keyboard each time. It represents Junhyeok because this was their first song after he left the band.
YES all of their songs are just that good. They just know how to utilize their strengths, they naturally end up making everything work for them and ofc being so actively involved in the song making process also plays a part in it. I have to say tho the young k obsession is EXTREMELY relatable just wait till you unlock the daydream era bsides and their live performances 😁 When it comes to guides the channel wonpilates has one which is def the best we have it does have jae but i don't think mydays will mind that at all. The same channel has a lottt of day6 crack vids if you want to know them more you can watch them even on your own. Also I would personally recommend you to watch their live performances to truly get to to appreciate them. 💞
Same girl, same. It's really hard to list the best DAY6 songs, it's easily 90% of their discography. I personally prefer their b-sides, you should definitely check out some of the albums. Not sure if it's worth waiting to see if someone does an updated guide, they're all so out of date now. Although you could try some of the old short guides for entertainment purposes. Like the 2018 'a very UNHELPFUL guide to DAY6' from byronvids (Jae's old YT channel editor), it's 3mins long, extremely silly & not at all informative 🤣 And the 10min long 2020 'iconic day6 moments every new MyDay should see pt1' from sanshine x - it's a classic
excellent choices girl!!! and yes all their songs are all that good and please check out stop the rain from their japanese album (on your own or as reaction!) Also day6 school trilogy mvs!
There are 2 go-to guides for me. Although both are from around 2020, they still give you the basics until someone comes up with a new guide. Introduction to Day6 (2020 Guide) by uaenaday11 A Helpful Guide to Day6: Introduction to Members by wonpilates Hope this helps. 😊
