sungjins voice♡ you have great taste i see~ im glad you liked them^^ they have really good music videos, hopefully you feel interested! day6 have been popular among other artists for a while, but their mainstream popularity got really big once they finished their military services. it's so nice to see as someone who's been listening to them for a long time~ a lot of their "classics" (they sing in the kv "you were beautiful", "i'm serious", "i smile" and "i like you") are from a project they did in 2017 where they put out a new song + a bside every month. (if you look at like spotify you can see them listed individually as singles but theyre also compiled in two albums, "sunrise" with january through june, and "moonrise" with july through december.) i just think this is fun information. these songs are part of what got me into male groups~ they also sometimes do like "series"? the MVs for "congratulations" and "you were beautiful" are connected, and there's three songs that they didnt sing in this that are one connected story. and then a handful of their albums are like "books"... i'm just rambling now...~ BTW killingvoice does sometimes accomodate for instruments! i believe day6 were the first to bring the whole band with every instrument, but theres been at least guitarrists bringing their guitars before. and with bands it's usually just the vocalist that does the kv (like with jannabi, ftisland and cnblue), so theyre not the first band, but as far as i remember day6 is the first *full* band ^^
The guy with the very good pronunciation is named Young K aka Bryan,he`s spent a lot of his life in Canada,so he`s fluent. And the guy with raspy voice is Sungjin,who`s also the leader of Day6,the guy on the keys is Wonpil,and the drummer is Dowoon who`s the youngest member. They also had two members,but unfortunately they left the gruop due to disagreements with their label company,Junhyeok spent only one year in Day6,and Jae(EaJ),left not that long ago, you can also check him out,he`s doing a lot of solo stuff, extremely talented. Thank you for checking them out,I think people sleep on them a lot
