Charge port, though nicely located in the front hood, it's placed way too low and the charge door slides up, which obscures the charging ports themselves forcing you to bend or knee down to plug in.. they should have made it easier, similar to Nissan LEAF charge port door that swings up...

I'd really like to know why they decided to go from alloy wheels to just wheel covers. Its a bit annoying to see a standard 2023 non ev mg zs that costs $20k less have alloy wheels and my $50k mg zs ev have plastic covers.
The 0-80% in 40 minutes is pure marketing BS. This would require an average of 52kW charging rate. Not possible on a 50 kW charger due to the current limits of the charger at the start , and the car above 70%. I have one, love it , and know! Just be honest MG not BS all the time, and you would be more respected.

Absolutely, plus the Flinstones rubber socket covers are a real pain. So much lost for a small design improvement.

Maybe 20% to 80% is more realistic.
I charged mine from 36% to 92% at a Lidl supermarket in just under 40 minutes.
