    I got one of the Honda licensed jackery power bankers a few years ago after a friend pulled his out during a power outage. I was worried it wouldn’t hold a charge and be dead when needed but he said his held well. I set an alarm to charge it up once in a while and it has been pretty handy. I have had good luck with the small anker battery packs so may have to look into that, looks like a good price.

    Hey Dan I bought a fluid extractor pump from harbor freight and changed oil myself in my caravan 3.6. the filter housing is up on top by intake on 2014 model. My injury level is c5-6 but I still managed I know you could do it

      Appparently pancreatic cancer is almost always fatal no matter what stage a person has. I am doing chemo and radiation, and it is miserable. I am working on making sure my trust is set up right.

    I have been using Sonoff Zigbee thigs with HA. I'll have to test it those Ikea switches etc. work with the Sonoff usb dongle and HA :D

      I just came back from Ikea, and i bought one of those remote sockets and one on/off switches. They both worked instantly through my Sonoff usb dongle and HA! Now i won't need to order these from Aliexpress anymore.

    Have you thought of just rebuilding your engine for your green van instead of buying a new one? I am sure yo have but. That would be cheaper.. that's what i plan on doing if something happens to my engine (I hope). Unless parts for rebuilding engines are just as hard to find too. Also are the micro switches in your green van doors hard to replace? because i am seriously thinking of trying to replace them myself instead of having someone do them for me. / How are you able to pull on your lift when it gets stuck like that? when mine gets stuck it won't let me pull it lose like that at all..

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Год назад

      the laundry cart wheels were just sitting on the bridge place inside.. thats why it didnt wanna deploy :^) as far as rebuilding - these modular engines weren't really designed to be rebuilt, and parts are just as hard to come by - it would be about the same cost, or a bit more than getting a replacement engine from a company that's already re-engineered the factory issues these things have.

    • @Warren1814
      @Warren1814 Год назад

      @@TotallyNormal- Oh, oh ok...... Glad you explained why your lift was so easy to pull down like that. I was thinking oh no, that's the last thing he needs is more problems. How can i tell if i have a modular engine or not? My van is a 2000 so i dunno if they where building those that long ago. (Awesome video, you inspire me every time i watch your videos!!!)

      the V8's in 4.6L and 5.4L, and the 6.8L-V10 are the main engines in the lineup. the 4.6 is probably the most reliable mechanically.. (there are some factory issues with all of the models though) - i've got another video explaining what happened with mine.
      ruclips.net/video/uChuV-_plXo/видео.html
      it was an 'assembly error' as it was being built.
      they are all TECHNICALLY rebuildable.. but there's a bit more work for these engines - people do rebuild them, but its a bit of an art-form :^)
      they were designed to run 250k miles (ish) and then be scrapped. the metal alloys and fasteners etc they used were all engineered for a finite lifespan.
      thats the short version.... lol

      @@TotallyNormal- lol Yeah i remember that video where you said robots broke your van etc. But i will look at it again just in case i missed something... I am glad mine is not a modular engine. mine is v6 then.... have you ever replaced your micro switches in your automatic doors before?

    hey Dan, I was wondering have you ever try replacing wheelchair acid battery to Li battery??

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Год назад +3

      proper/safe LiFePo4 batteries are fairly expensive... and the R-Net battery gauge isnt compatible with the Li battery voltages - BUT that alone isn't a big issue really.. just don't wanna spend $800-$1200 on batteries right now.
      cheap lithium batteries don't belong anywhere near a wheelchair. everyone brags about installing $300 packs.. but its a REALLY bad idea & they've clearly never been near a runaway battery, or experienced how FAST things can go wrong!
      lithium batteries have a lot of benefits for power chairs, but buying discount parts on amazon/ebay is NOT the way to go.
      people call me ignorant for my stance on lithium wheelchair batteries, but in a past life i built and maintained large battery systems - the safety of cheap import packs isn't something to take lightly!

      @@TotallyNormal- thanks Dan, my main problems is R-Net battery gauge compatible issues. and wheelchair suppliers are limited

      @@TotallyNormal- I agree it's a investment I paid 1,000$ for the 8 lifepo4 cells I got. The person building it must do it correctly with proper connections and a proper hobby charger for balancing the pack. And have the knowledge to configure everything. THEN it's great I get 35miles a charge an less weight faster. An last 10+ years
