I installed it today on my Predator Helios 16 with the Quest 2 and it runs like an absolute dream. Congratulations om putting together an easy to install and play modlist. I can finally retire 11 years as my default. Any tips on the best settings for my 4080?
To be frank? If you want sheer performance and solid gameplay then stick with FUS…but if you want an insane Skyrim VR with insane visuals and a ton of content(naughty and nice lol)Quest Dlcs etc a mssive overhaul in terms of NPC aesthetics then definately try this modlist out…be warned though, you’ll need at minimum,a 3070ti I think…I have a 4090 so performance isn’t an issue…well,if you record in 4K like I do then you’ll have a bit lower fps…try to view this video on a bigscreen monitor or TV in order to judge the aesthetics for yourself…good luck😊
Just out of curiosity, have you noticed the windmills in the white run area look very different from far away and then close up? Did you install Bruma on top of this list? Or anything for that matter...or is this as is? I have this same issue and I can't find a solve.
@@TheReclusiveGamer If you watch the video back, at 20:55 the windmill is white stucco, wood beams and stone base. When you are close to the windmills in the same area they are fully pale wood. I have this modlist running and spotted this same issue. I don't know if it occurred before I installed Bruma or after it. There are no conflicts in the mod on MO2. So I was wondering if this is how the mod list just comes out of the box.

This looks great, but I have a question. How does it compare to FUS performance and visuals wise? It looks good but hard to tell what itll look like in the headset. Unless performance is decent I dont want to install. (I know you said it was decent with performance but Im just wondering about the difference between this and FUS) Also just got FUS setup with Requiem and holy, turns it into another game almost!
@@hitmantb To be fair it runs like crap too, I can run it without reprojection on a 4080 but theres multiple crashes and stability issues as well as bugs. I think its a good modlist but FUS isnt mean to be a ultra graphics-type modlist. Its a vanilla+ one. Its very stable, runs great and looks fine.

@@TheReclusiveGamer Thank you. I played through Skyrim VR a few years ago with an Oculus Rift S and a 1080ti. Now I have a Varjo Aero and 4090. Should be fun.
There's a Skyrim Requiem subreddit that has a guide on how to install it, it doesnt officially support VR but you can follow the guide and it works VERY well. The title of the guide is "Skyrim VR x Requiem guide, tips, Q&A" if you have trouble finding it Requiem is very hard to explain, its not a combat mod, its not a hardcore mod, its not just an overhaul of stuff like perks its an overhaul of the ENTIRE game. It changes so much so it will be hard to explain but heres a brief summary: Requiem de-levels the world, meaning enemies dont scale to your level. This mean that if you're level 1 with just iron armor and an iron sword, you wont be able to clear vampire dungeons which you would in vanilla skyrim. Enemies have weaknesses and resistances, you need to actually prepare for encounters. If you're about to go to a dungeon, maybe bring a Silver weapon which Draugr are weak too. Heavy armor and Light armor plays a bigger role than just sneak vs tanking damage. Heavy armor slows you down now, however you are much more resitant to stuff like blunt damage and arrows dont do much damage to you, casting spells in armor is also harder but you will eventually level up and learn perks that mitigate this, metal armor is also weak to lightning, and light armor is great becuase you dont have the stamina or magika debuffs however arrows will hurt like a mf. It might sound confusing but this basically enhances the role play of a game. you cant just clear out all the content early, you have to level up and actually spend skill spoints thoughtfully. At first it sounded like this was gonna be very tedious and slow. But I find it to enhance skyrim in sooo many ways. Making a build is actually important now, you cant be good at everything. Requiem is however NOT a hardcore mod, but it reworks a lot of the mechanics of Skyrim and that leads to the game becoming harder. But eventually when you level up and become stronger youll get more powerful, so its only really hard in the beginning and you get more powerful as you go
@@Yucci ahhhh okay I see…thank you so much for taking the time to provide an in depth explanation,I really appreciated that👍🏽 any chance you can upload some videos of this modlist and the previously described game mechanics?

@@TheReclusiveGamer If you want to give requiem a try I recommend the modlist "Wildlander". Requiem is more hardcore but I wouldnt say it turns skyrim into a hardcore game. Its mainly the beginning thats hard but then you start leveling your character and get stronger with each level, if Id summarize requiem with one word it would be "Progression". The wildlander modlist isnt for VR, but itll give you a good understanding of how requiem works. I thought it was just a challenge mod at first until I started leveling up and I could feel how my character good stronger. When i was level 1 I got absolutely butchered by some bandits, I returned there 5-6 levels later and it was a lot easier and I could feel how my character has improved. Not a feeling I get in vanilla skyrim
