wabbajack is a program that installs entire modlists and vortex also installs mods and I think modlists as well...wabbajack uses Mod Organizer 2 though,I personally prefer the Mod Organzizer 2 method

@@Tressie13 being weird man, what about the niche mods that everyone likes to use that aren't updated? with every new update mods are lost forever because they don't have support anymore

@@acl6521 They still work after the core mods are updated, which are the dependencies for everything else to get back to work after a new patch, and you'll need to wait literally only one-ish day for that to happen, but you know youtubers take advantage of every possible situation to catch desperate people. Also, this guy doesn't help, this is a waste of time and extra SSD writes for no real reason because you will update the game anyways when the core mods were updated the next day, but dude is mad because some old enough person comes to tell the real affair behind thi$.

@@WavesDreams2005 update 2.13 is causing the mods to break…sit tight and either wait for CET and the other base mods to get updated or better yet,downgrade your game to version 2.12 and you’ll be able to play your game normally with all of your mods…thats what I did and am currently playing my game with hundreds of mods…checkout my next tutorial if you dont know how to downgrade,the video is uploading right now and should be viewable in 30 minutes

I would wait until the base required mods like CET gets updated…or if you can’t hold out,then downgrade the game’s exe and other necessary files via Steamdb

@@TheReclusiveGamer I uninstalled any prior Reshade mods (as in removed them entirely from the Isolation folder) and Reshade itself, then did a reinstall with ALIEN Collection only using the Reshade 6.2.0 installation, and unchecked all auto-suggested fx files in the second-to-last step of the installation process. If you allow it to install any of Reshade's suggested .fx files, they will overwrite ALIEN Collection's older .fx files which will break the LUT.fx files. LUT files are like film color filters, and are essential to making the shader look like a certain film. You can add additional Reshade mods only after doing ALIEN Collection's first.

@@TheReclusiveGamer If you ever delete/reinstall AI.exe, you will have to repeat the above process all over again. Better to just verify game files to restore default unmodded versions of the rest of the files without reinstalling AI.exe.

its pretty rough on weaker gpus...I was able to play this on my 1080ti at only 2160x2160 but now with a 4090,I can completely max out everything on 3920x3920 which is the max resolution on the VR mod

you know,that I'm not exactly sure about that tbh...with the latest update,I would hold off on any mods yet for a bit though and test out the game's native performance post update first though

yes just delete them from the ~mods folder if you don't want them,and no there's no registry editing required
