Great review! While it seems quite advanced, I'm really looking forward to the day when robot vacuums can navigate between floors on their own. Imagine a model with some kind of tracked system or articulated legs that could climb stairs - no propellers or drones needed! That would be a true game-changer for multi-story homes. I wonder if any manufacturers are working on this kind of technology? It would solve the last major limitation of robot vacuums. Keep up the great reviews - I'm excited to see what innovations the future holds for these helpful devices!
Hi! I read about them working on these robovacs but Im nervous about having a robovac with legs. Thank you for watching and Im working on more reviews for you! =)
Dyson really doesn't get it. What is the point to have a vacuum robot if I have to empty it everytime ? Vacuum robots purpose are for us to save time, the less time spent interacting with the machine and cleaning the floors the better it accomplishes it's job. Used to vacuum and mop floors once every two days , nowadays with my robot I do it only once a week (save for accidents) and floors are cleaner the only downside it's 10 minute wasted in filling/emptying the tanks , wiping the base and the robot but again, once a week.
I think dyson just want to recycle their upright vacuum component in a robot vacuum format. Instead of design one from scratch. which is why you see so many shared component and the lack of self empty base. testing the robot market before investing a separate product line that have custom component. If they ever made a self empty station, dyson probably will re use their up right vacuum component in the base station as well.
there are other brand that do the same and the eureka j15 pro ultra may be better because recognize if theres some liquid dirt on the floor and lift all the brashes clean all the mess go to clean the mop and return to vacuming and mopping, also have 16200pa of pawer vacum instead of 11000 of x40 dreame and even the base is made very silent for the cleaning operetaion very insulated 7 layers and it cost 1000 euros, this x40 cost 16000
what is your verdict regarding the self cleaning station? Does the station actually clean itself so you don't have to do it very frequently? :) Will you be covering the Q revo master when it is released? :)
Yes it does do a good job cleaning itself and removing odors. However it's still an automated machine so if you spill spoiled milk or rotten food on the floor, that type of smelly residue requires you to properly clean the inside of the station. Q revo master - I want to but I don't get roborocks sent to me for free like others so I have to wait til I finish the upcoming maxv ultra content. My reviews are as upfront and honest as I can be and sometimes brands penalize you for telling the truth. (I have never worked with roborock but saying from other experiences).
This $h!t is overpriced compared to Yeedi M12. Even though Yeedi is only 11000 pa but it does the same things. I have been using it for over a week. So far, so good. It is kind of slow on the shaggy carpet, but I guess Dreame x40 does the same because the carpet is so thick. I'm not going to pay more than double for this PO$
Strong words... YEEDI = Ecovac.....they have similar features but does NOT mean they work the same.... Until I can try the yeedi m12, I can't say more than that and prices drop fast on robovacs.
For anyone interested in Dreame you made this a very nice thorough product review...nice soft soothing voice too. Thank you❤

Dream x50 ultra 😅
Great and very thorough review. It made my decision to go with this model, a lot easier. Thanks 🙂Brgds Jesper/Denmark
i just received the eufy s1 pro and it really is next level
I saw the demo and thought it looked good. Not sure it is same level as the Dream X40 ultra or Roborock max8v ultra.
@@TheFrenchGlow oh its better check out more reviews
Hello, so i live in France but i'm from Portugal and i have a house there, can i remote start the vacuum from france with my phone?
Yes.
But u need an active internet connection connected to robovac
What’s the QR code on the mop plate for?

How well does it do on carpet? Do you recommend it over like a mop/vacuum like Bissell?
Great Video!
Peak robo vacuum would be stairs. The Migo Ascender is delayed. So it will be a while.
I don't think a stair unit will come out soon.. It would require legs right?
Do you can also test the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra ? Great Video
Hi! Thank you for the kind words! I have been trying it out and tested it before. I'm hoping to do a comparison video between the two soon.
@@TheFrenchGlow wow cant wait ! THANKS !!!!
Need that comparison video. The S8 MaxV Ultra and the X40 Ultra are the two kings. They need to battle lol

Why are the ai upgrades not able to just be added to the dreame x30 or l20 through an update?
Then whats the incentive to sell you the X40? And give it 3-6 months and there will be an X50, then X60....etc.

Time to weigh it against the Ecovacs Deebot X5 Pro Omni
curious why you're whispering in this video
I was speaking from the heart. 😎
DYSON IS OVERPRICED and outdated

Aliexpress Chinese model with region lock bypass ftw. Half price pls.
The only reason for not buying Dreame x40 ultra is because you can't use hot water to mop the floors.
Great review !!!
