yeah all the best mate but please be realistic at the same time too. Definitely not demotivating you but just keep a background check of all IIM's seelction criteria as well. 10th/12th/grad scores matter and my friend who got in iim K said anything lower than 90% in 10th 12th, lowers your chances in abc, there might be exceptions but in general that's the case. Regardless, keep your options open and not just IIM's abc, there are good if not at par colleges like iims. All the best to both of us!

But it still a great irony that those who really deserve the MBA is the BBA or BMS students And In IIM ahmedabad or other business schools there is lot of scarce of those students who came from business backgrounds ( bba or Bms )

I am a B.com(H) fresher with a background of family business. In my XIMB interview I was asked why didn't I pursue CA to which I replied I passed CA CPT in my 1st attempt but didn't pursue further because I was more interested in the managerial aspects of business. The question was unexpected and surprising as I didn't talk anything about CA in my introduction despite being a CA Inter dropout.
Thats the reason m conflicted to take up BBA now.. I had made up my mind about taking up BBA and then getting into a good college for MBA Also, I am a science student willing to change my stream to BBA because I have lost interest in science.. Hi Aakash, please note that while calculating 10th & 12th marks, all your subjects (even if additional) will be taken into account. Besides that, whatever the eligibility is, one cannot change that. Wishing you the best! Would advise you to prepare well for the exam, there are some colleges like FMS which are lenient with acad scores and please don't trust hearsay. The top IIMs may give shortlists as long as their eligibility criteria are met, so best to refer to their official websites for the same.

Hey Shweta, you told us that you solved 40-50 questions in quant on a day. Was it for a period of 10-11 months? If so, how many hours did it take to solve 40-50 questions? I feel LOD 1 of arun sharma which has 56 questions takes two days for me to finish them and then switch over to LOD 2. What's your opinion?
Hey Sreya, I tried finishing my basics by May-June. So, 40-50 questions a day was till then. I never tracked # of hours because it's not the right measure. I solved them in sittings of 10-20 questions. Used to keep a time limit per question for trying to solve it (generally 5 minutes). If wasn't able to, would mark it for review. Have shared more of it in the QA video, linking for your reference - ruclips.net/video/-LvjYfedC-c/видео.html And in my opinion, you should feel comfortable with your own pace. It's okay if you're solving 50 questions in 2 days, happened with me on so many days with chapters that weren't of interest to me, my mood, my schedule, lots of other variables. I have a doubt like i used to read newspapers editorials daily and it helped me in Rc's But i have to move on more tougher articles like from brain picking and aeon etc but I'm not able to comprehend single para of them completely 😐!! 2. Could please specify the pages you read in mint.
Some articles in brain pickings are too tough to comprehend and if they end up in the CAT exam it'd be better to keep them to the end or skip them altogether. The CAT passages are at par with the newspaper articles or sometimes one notch higher due to author's writing style. But they're not loaded with tough words like brain picking articles. So, don't worry if you're unable to comprehend them. It's good you're trying. From Mint I referred the front page and the editorials (opinion articles).

I didn't focus on vocab at all, in my opinion it's not required. So, I'd say use newspaper for whatever vocab building is required.

But i have to move on more tougher articles like from brain picking and aeon etc but I'm not able to comprehend single para of them completely 😐!!

Some articles in brain pickings are too tough to comprehend and if they end up in the CAT exam it'd be better to keep them to the end or skip them altogether. The CAT passages are at par with the newspaper articles or sometimes one notch higher due to author's writing style. But they're not loaded with tough words like brain picking articles. So, don't worry if you're unable to comprehend them. It's good you're trying.
