@@maccolaco3745 SCs pay only 10% of what general category students are made to pay. It's a complete plan for destruction and impoverishment of the general category. Firstly dont let them in and if you do let them in, charge them 35 lakhs so that atleast some family property has to be mortgaged or they have student debt for 5 years. They're funding the education of "weaker" sections from the fees of the general category. It would be understandable if it was only done for poor people, but it's a blanket thing- even if SC comes from the family of an IAS they'll still pay a reduced fee and even if the general category student is coming from a farmer's family, they'll need to pay full fee. Its getting really unfair and totally out of hand now.

I was preparing for CAT in the year 2021 but then I was demotivated when i got to know the interview call process and CS. I dropped the plan to appear in CAT despite being enrolled in coaching. I felt like in this life I am not gonna Make it to top B schools even if i score 99.99 . Bt after watching this video I am motivated and started preparing for CAT again this year and will see what happens but will give my best.
Not getting top iima is not the end of the world .one can only give their best . But being in tension is not good ..what you learn in corporate world after graduation from any good MBA college is what matters . I have seen people from nmims ,jamna Bajaj ,IMT ghaziabad at better positions than IIM ABC candidates after 10 years .
With one step at a time, everything takes time. She's already putting things in place and she's a lot to do ahead. I think it's wrong process.. Need to remove 10 th mark.. Cause? 1.when we was class 10th this time we didn't know what we'll do in future. 2.when we move 12 th then we at least decided what filled we choose... B. Com, or bba, bms Or other courses.. Even some students they decided their stream like engineering after 10 th . 3. We will completely confident when we join college.. And try to increase college Mark's. So i think need to keep college Mark's in their section process. What would you think?
@@pranjaynath604 college marks were only removed due to online exams, as all the students who gave exams in Covid years have scored high( we all know how). That would have been unfair to the batches passed out earlier.
As you are saying his composite score is 23 .. and he performed well in cat and get into iim a.. And if someone got 8point in 10th,8 in 12th, 8 in grad as per iim a shortlisting criteria.. his total cs is 24.. and if he is fresher and he score very good percentile in cat , he can too get into iim -a

I and my family had to go through alot during my HS , I couldn't focus in my studies half because of family health deterioration and half because of my lack of sincerity... I scored 79% and that time I was no where thinking of CAT and rest my grad and 10th score are in 80s and 90s... Wish I could go back and shake off past 12th me... But these videos of you Shweta really gives me hope thank you so much 💕...
This is why I always hate these unfair process conducted by bschools. Just because we couldn't score well in our school life they judge our capabilities to even have managerial skills? I mean if that was the case then all coders and software developers in this world should have been toppers with 90+ but that's not the case. Hell with acads my father had 60% at his time back in 1985 and now he is the VP of his company. If he had been judged by his acads he shouldn't have become VP today.
But why are we all so hastled with this rat race for MBA straight after grad? Anything related to business only starts making sense when you have had adequate exposure to managing some aspects of business. Otherwise it’s only a holy grail of getting a higher pay package … and that necessarily is not linearly sustained across 20 plus years .. it’s better to focus on actual management topics (so that we can provide impetus to some real motivation for people yearning for such)

Exactly. Like some people may have got low marks in their school life either because of sickness or they weren't able to understand or fully mug up concepts. But still somehow come ahead in their life and would be working in software companies earning a lot. But then when they decide to an MBA ultimately because they would be interested in management then these past academics would come to haunt them and many get depressed 😔 for not converting calls for their favourite b schools. In life everyone should be given a chance irrespective of what they did in their past. Totally unfair process.

Please make a video on the colleges that don't care about academics or give little importance. I have 56 in grads, this is the only question lingering in my mind. 75 in 10th and 91 in 12th btw.
I suppose you would be earning a great amount and would like to suggest an upgrade in the camera or lighting, which would drastically improve the video quality providing the views with better production.
I had also low marks in school , but i dont give important to that and that will not stop me to score highest percentile in CAT (THINK BIG , THINK DIFFERENT)
Please bring a GEM with an average profile. Otherwise this all looks elite. Not to sound offensive but I want achievers to be brutally honest with those who are struggling to make it to the top. Motivation is fine but false motivation is disastrous. The whole selection process of IIMs seems like a tug of war between capitalistic structure (which is the origin of MBA) and sudden wokenism(to include diversity). Why does every IIM grad mention about old sins? How does scoring average or low marks in school is a sin? Not everyone gets enough access to top schools and colleges. Not every one can afford to take coaching to prepare for top exams. Does that mean that they have failed?

there are very less b schools who actually don't care about acads but grades arent everything though! yes they do matter but if you score good in cat and have a good work ex , im pretty sure you can get calls from the new or baby iims :)

I am studying in Triple crown business school having better Times higher ranking compared to IIM Ahmedabad, I don't have very good academic record, GMAT, IELTS etc. Don't think I am rich and paying crores of rupees. MY GOD ! The SC got calls from all the IIMs with 68%ile and such pathetic acad !!!!! Talk about discrimination against deserving candidates 😒

But why are we all so hastled with this rat race for MBA straight after grad? Anything related to business only starts making sense when you have had adequate exposure to managing some aspects of business. Otherwise it’s only a holy grail of getting a higher pay package … and that necessarily is not linearly sustained across 20 plus years .. it’s better to focus on actual management topics (so that we can provide impetus to some real motivation for people yearning for such)

Hey Saloni, thank you so much for the kindest words 🙏😊 To answer your question - yes, any kind of experience is work-experience for all B-schools including IIMs. In fact, most B-schools don't consider the company/role while giving you points for work-ex, they just consider the number of months. Exactly. Like some people may have got low marks in their school life either because of sickness or they weren't able to understand or fully mug up concepts. But still somehow come ahead in their life and would be working in software companies earning a lot. But then when they decide to an MBA ultimately because they would be interested in management then these past academics would come to haunt them and many get depressed 😔 for not converting calls for their favourite b schools. In life everyone should be given a chance irrespective of what they did in their past. Totally unfair process.

Please bring a GEM with an average profile. Otherwise this all looks elite. Not to sound offensive but I want achievers to be brutally honest with those who are struggling to make it to the top. Motivation is fine but false motivation is disastrous. The whole selection process of IIMs seems like a tug of war between capitalistic structure (which is the origin of MBA) and sudden wokenism(to include diversity). Why does every IIM grad mention about old sins? How does scoring average or low marks in school is a sin? Not everyone gets enough access to top schools and colleges. Not every one can afford to take coaching to prepare for top exams. Does that mean that they have failed?

there are very less b schools who actually don't care about acads but grades arent everything though! yes they do matter but if you score good in cat and have a good work ex , im pretty sure you can get calls from the new or baby iims :)

Aur mujhe pata hai life mai IIM ke bina bhi apna life jee sakhte hai. Mujhe Virus( viru shastrabuddhi) type colleges pasand nhi hai and IIM is classic example of VIRUS
I am studying in Triple crown business school having better Times higher ranking compared to IIM Ahmedabad, I don't have very good academic record, GMAT, IELTS etc. Don't think I am rich and paying crores of rupees. I am under full free scholarship 😂. What I am going to say, anything is possible if you really desire something. Be positive and make a strategy. All the best

But,I want to know something about work experience.I passed out from St.Stephen's College,2019 with low cgpa of 6.4.Now,I am pursuing my M.Sc and maintaining around 80%.
During my M.Sc,I founded my own educational platform for non-profit giving free coaching to classes 11 and 12 students in my state.
Moreover,I am also managing my uncle's local firm from 2019.Will these be considered as work experience.Please clear my doubts.
