Just got my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, I’ve been struggling to find a video this informative about 37s without a lift. Thanks a bunch brother, Subscribed and will be watching your channel often, Hope you get to the 100k mark , not the 1000. You deserve it!
Nice, mine is a desiel gladiator rubicon and getting 37 this friday along with a complete setup from steersmarts in the front. Love these gladiators. Much respect to you toyota guys
Stock “Rubicon”. My “Sport” runs 285/70R17. That’s about a 34”. 37’s would definitely not fit…yet. My JLU has the same size tires, only in MT form. They rub. Or did. 3.5” lift cured that. Now looking for aftermarket lockers.
Gladiator from NH here. I Love the content but am going to go with 35’s on my Willy’s. I mean...it’s a Willy’s not a Rubi. Did you guys use backspacing on those rims to reduce suspension stress or nah?
This is the first video of yours I watched, so maybe it's already answered, but what about gears? Did you have to regear with the 37s? Jeep looks sick....
I would say yes you should re-gear. I went 5.13 gears and it was a little too much for the 37’s. But I planned to go to 40’s when I had them done. Which I did end up going 40’s. The 5.13 and 40’s was a perfect combo.
I just got a spacer kit and new bump stops. I’ll be doing another video of the install and after if they allow to put 37’s on and hold off on the lift kit for a bit. Doing 1.5” teraflex leveling kit and then teraflex speed bumps.
Ooooh yeah. 37x12.5 and 17 inch centerline full jacket rims went on my Gladiator Rubicon without a lift within 2 weeks....No rubbing in the street or mild off road....and looks vicious
Sorry, kinda late to this vid..... But, not all 35's or 37's are the same. Did you actually measure the tire with a tape measure? If so what is the true height of the 37's? Great video bro
Just got a 2022 Glad Rubi and had it delivered with 35's but would like the 37. I put on 1.75" spacers to make the 35's look better, could I assume the spacers could remain in this setup?
Can I ask the offset on those wheels? I have a gladiator rubicon and I wanna put 37s on and drive for a while before getting my lift. I have 9.5 x 17 Black rhino armory wheels that have a -18 offset.
Max Overland awesome yeah I have led fog lights so they should just screw in? Do you happen to have a link or know where you bought yours? i can’t seem to find one with that stinger
4.5” back spacing. The gladiator rubicons have the wider Dana 44 axles. I was expecting to need spacers. One of my buddies needed spacers oh his jku. I still can’t believe they don’t rub at all. Jeep made a great platform.
Change the headline to fitting 37s on a stock gladiator Rubicon. The Rubicon has a different suspension set-up than the sport. So this is not a "stock" gladiator its a stock Rubicon gladiator.
I had 2020 JT Sport S and just got a 2021 JT Rubi. This suspension is very much the same. The springs have a different rate which supports added lift but otherwise they are nothing special between the two. Shocks are even the same length.
Deepak Satheesh it’s a little slower. And the steering feels less responsive. May have to look into that sector shaft brace upgrade. But it does feel planted to the road!
The 2020 and 2021 Jeep Gladiators all models are developing leaking axle seals on primarily the rear drivers side. Jeep knows this and are replacing the axles under warrenty. There is a good chance that a recall is coming soon.

Looks great! What was the back spacing on the wheels?
Thank you! The backspacing is 4.5

@@MaxOverland thanks, that's what I thought, pretty much anything over 35s should regear. Thanks! I did subscribe too....
Pete from Colorado. Jeep Wrangler JLU Mojito 2.5 “ w/37”
Ontario, Canada checking in. I'm loving my gladiator Rubicon was not sure if I should go 35" or 37".

Hemi Dave blows my mind lol. You lift yours yet? I went with the Evo 2.5” lift, absolutely love the stance!
@@MaxOverland Not yet ...but its coming...

Did you have to reset your headlights and speedometer? I was told you do as well as adjust the steering stop blocks.
Speedometer yes I did. I bought a tazer. Headlights I left alone. Never did anything with steering stop blocks.

What size wheel did you mount the 37s on??
Just subscribed, Florence Alabama

The JT is looking pretty nice!!!
Thanks it’s coming along!!
From Howard City MI rolling with a new Mojave
that's a sweet bumper, where did you get it from? what's the name of it? do you think it will fit on a wrangler?
Leon it’s the metal cloak frame built bumper. What wrangler model do you have?
Max Overland okay thanks! I have a 2019 Sahara. Do you know if the stock fog lights fit in that bumper? I see you have fog lights in yours.
This bumper will fit on your wrangler. It fits the stock led fogs. I believe you need an adapter for the non led if that’s what your have.
Max Overland awesome yeah I have led fog lights so they should just screw in? Do you happen to have a link or know where you bought yours? i can’t seem to find one with that stinger
From Dayton, Ohio.... looking into purchasing a Gladiator for some overland advewntures
Those wheels look sweet.
Thank you! Only thing I wish they had is a center cap. They are designed for lockout hubs. So I’ll just have to paint the center.
Just got a Gladiator sport.... looking to start the upgrades
Shane Mclure they are so much fun!! I just lifted mine!
What's the offset and backspacing on the wheels?? Amazing that it's not rubbing at full turn!
4.5” back spacing. The gladiator rubicons have the wider Dana 44 axles. I was expecting to need spacers. One of my buddies needed spacers oh his jku. I still can’t believe they don’t rub at all. Jeep made a great platform.
Doesn’t it come with a 2 inch lift allready in the front??
Do you know the offset on those rims? Sick channel btw. Subbed
Thank you! They are -4.5 I believe!
@@MaxOverland thanks man!
They will fit if you are just doing city of flat streets.. Going off road with 37 and stock will not work..
Bowling Green, VA USA
Any info on 37 fitting in the spare tire location?
Yes sir! You have to air it down to around 10psi and it will fit!
North east California
I know the backspacing was 4.5 but what is the rim width thank you
9.5 is the rim width I believe.
