That was awesome you giving him a pomp! Me and one other guy were evening beach fishing in St Augustine and he wore out the pomps and I got into some bigger whiting. When we got back to the parking lot, I gave him 2 big whiting for a 15” pompano so that we both had a mixed cooler to take home! Awesome video as usual!

Going down to gulf shores from Ohio just to go to beach bum outdoors and fish some of places you all go on your channels. Really nice if u to help that guy and let him take a fish on your gear! Great vid as always
That a way Matt! Sharing knowledge. Line diameter. I fish some dang gum rough surf. I use 40 lb mono on 40 lb braid to heave 4-6 oz sputniks, but it is always 15 lb fluoro for the hook off of the main leader. I wish I could throw light stuff like you got there in the gulf. Pomp, so yummy.
i will be in orange beach in september what is the best thing to fish for at that time. I will be fishing from the beach. I am new to ocean fishing. any info helps thanks

I am in gulf shores today, drove from the Detroit Area, we have been fishing ,nothing yet but we love it here, where is good place to surf fish
I was there in February, the fishing was tough. No keepers out to Anclote key except for a bonnet head.

What line do you use. I never surf fish. Don't really have surf rods. But been wanting to try it more and more
You don't need surf rods, just use what ya got and have a good time! Most fish are close in too
I've got surf rods but my fav is a 7ft bass rod (stiff), 15 or 20lb braid, 20lb floro leader
Fishing the Beach is like a box of chocolates, Ya Just Never Know What Ya Gonna Get ! Ha.
You need bells on your fishing rods.
Just an FYI, in Florida you’d be breaking the law catching a limit and giving away anything beyond that.
