Congrats Justin! That is AWESOME! Sorry we couldn’t connect when I was down there. I was in Pensacola for a day and a half. Fished Bob Sikes bridge and got skunked, except for a catfish but I’d rather catch an old boot than one of them. Spent another day on the pier and caught a few ladyfish, hardtail and blues. Fished for eight days on the panhandle and STILL haven’t laid eyes on a pompano. Next time I’m down there I need to do some surf fishing with the master. Congrats again buddy!

Time to get completely closed rod holders those you have if a fish doesn’t commit to the bit and let’s go it can sling the rod back causing it to fall back
The cup on those are 4 inch deep and the rod actually won't fall out when that happens. I know what your talking about though, seen it happen on some other versions.
