- Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Season Two, Episode 19
Graveyard of Fear
Guest stars: Robert Loggia, Marian Moses
A scientist (Loggia) persuades Nelson to retrieve his experiments from the wreckage of his research ship, putting the Seaview in peril from the sea creature that destroyed his vessel.
Robert Loggia (1930 - 2015) was a well-known and respected actor who appeared in countless movies and TV shows.
Marian Moses (1932 - 2004), better known as Marian McCargo Bell, was an American actress and champion tennis player who later found success in film and television roles.
This high definition video was recorded from an HDTV broadcast of newly-transferred and restored film. The episode has been shortened by the distributor to the current standard length for one-hour episodes through the use of cuts and increased frame rate. Additional audio and video augmentation by TooleMan TV, 2024.
David Hedison was gorgeous. I fell in love with him at 10 years old back in 1964. Getting him for a husband would’ve made me feel like I won the New York State lottery. Thanks for the upload you guys.
That was my celebrity crush at the age of 11
@@debrawhitney7748 Irwin Allen knew what he was doing with us from the very beginning first David Hedison, Mark Goddard, James, Darren, and Don Matheson. He knew where to hit us where we live. That was very unfair of him unduly exciting tenure 11 year olds. I cried like a baby when those three died the only one left is James, Darren and I still love him too, thanks for the compliment
Nideria Rex!
He sure was, I'm in the UK and had a crush on him❤❤
Give TooleMan a THUMBS UP!!
Thanks for info on Saboteur episode. Maybe you can post it later. Would like to see more of the episode's like Many Faces. More mysteries and fewer monsters.
This is nice. Waiting to watch Voyage "when it comes on" instead of just clicking to watch. The way TV used to be. "The show begins" is always a special moment.
What a great episode. And not an F word uttered! Hollywood today could learn something!
Yeah... I've lost count of the number of modern films I've turned off due to bad language. (Are the scriptwriters so lacking in imagination??)
Another great episode on it's way👍👍👍 Thank you for posting.
IM LIKE A 10 YEAR OLD KID ALL OVER AGAIN JUST CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE ITS 23 53 HERE IN SOUTH WEST FRANCE AND I WONT BE GOING TO BED JUST YET I'LL PROBABLY FIND ANOTHER SERIES I HAVEN'T SEEN AFTERWARDS ❤ REGARDS TO ALL AND HAPPY WATCHING 😊 ❤FROM SHAUN

Very good episode with good VFX and an excellent music score.
Most of the credit goes to Jerry Goldsmith, his score from the S2 opener “Jonah and the Whale” being recycled here.
@@michaelschramm1064 Goldsmith. That explains it. One of the greats.
Thanks again Tooleman, another chance to rediscover the wonderful work of Irwin Allen. He brought pulp spy, sci fi and horror fiction to television on a very big budget for the time. These shows are a time capsule of our culture and it’s lovely to see them looking so great.
💯💯💯💯💯💯 agree
Looking forward to it Loving our voyages here. Thank you Tooleman❤☺️
Cheers from Canada and many thanks to TooleManTV for posting these excellent episodes. In this one I found it humorous that Loggia's toupee kept shifting it's position on his head throughout the episode.
I love this show as a child growing up in the sixties Richard Basehart is excellent
7:15--The Admiral has a very Irish Leprechaun look about him, that Irish skepticism, as he listens to blarney!
Some great underwater shots! Everything looks SO good in HD, even the monsters! 🙏 TooleMan.
That monster, seen underwater, is obviously a shredded turnip. Deadly lethal.
This is excellent Love the fast paced adventure. The Seaview and fs1 excellent
Amazing job with cleaning up the videos and uploads. Thanks so much bringing back so many great memories. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Bed time here but really looking forward to this.
Good old "new days" of yore, from my childhood era of the mid- late 60s. When sci-fi cool had a different meaning, it meant something. Effective entertainment with soave', class, and good taste.
Bingo.
Really great show and rendition. Thank you. Excellent episode. The crewman who tried to stop Ames from leaving Seaview was played by Bill Hickman, of Bullitt fame. He was the Charger driver and was a race car driver in addition to being a stuntman. I've always liked this episode- the effects, music. The final two scenes almost make me cry...a Man's dream and love collapse in his arms, then the Seaview, as indomitable as ever, sails away to great effect with pulse jets in full speed, as the music swells. With Toole Man's super clear pic and sound, I can really appreciate the voices and delivery of Basehart and Loggia. If I could deliver lines like that, I'd be President.
I hope you will run for President, voice or no voice. We need a Voyage fan in the White House!
Beautiful tribute for a remarkable episode. Thank you.
Feech LaManna: "Lotta money in that vital synthesis!"
Fantastic episode, again top notch quality. The wonderful thing about these old Irwin Allen shows, Star Trek, the Gerry Anderson series and Dr Who is that they are so different from one another, unique effects and sound, you only have to listen to them and you can identify each one where I find today's SFX shows all look and sounds the same, you could swap all the monsters, robots around and they would blend perfectly into each film or show. They all look and sound the same especially the superheroes, plus the cgi looks fake. The model work in Voyage still looks fantastic.
Wonderful observation, thank you! It's true, there's a sameness to all the productions now. And some say that's "progress!" These Retro Shows are all the more valuable for their creativity.
The chef's been wanting to serve us up some sushi, men. Lots o' meat there, and fresh, too! Hope you're hungry! Let's go out and haul that thing to the chef's kitchen!
Really enjoyed hearing the stories and seeing how you feed those hardworking cowboys. Enjoy all the videos but this one was a little extra special.
Thank you TooleMan, enjoyed the episode and the chat
👏👏👏 Enjoyed. 😊
The most Freudian episode yet!
Fascinating!
Its kind of funny how each episode always solves the problems in the last 2 minutes of the show.
I LIKED THE ACTOR R.L. HE'S WAS A GOOD ACTOR. A TOUGH GUY. THIS MY 1ST TIME C-ING HIM ON S.V. BTW HE & D.H. COULD PASS FOR BROTHERS!!!
Is there any chance of posting The Saboteur or Man Of Many Faces. Hope I got that right? Thanks for all the hard work. Love the creature in this one. 😊😊😊
Man of Many Faces is coming soon! The Saboteur is from season one, and I cannot post it here.
@@TooleManTVtwo great episodes. Darn Prime Video.
Can't wait for Man of Many Faces
@@paulhennessey2623 it aired on MeTV yesterday morning, although I watch on RUclips. One of very few good episodes of season four. Can’t wait for @TooleManTV to do his magic!
Didn't see Chief Sharkey in this episode. Guess he was on shore leave ?
Terry Becker was renegotiating his contract with Irwin Allen. Glad they settled!
He was one of the 5 "non-essential personnel".
If the year and date for each episode release was listed, that would be great. Than I could recall how old I was at that time.
Did you read the description in the post?
outstanding work. Too bad, metv edits the episodes.
It was good, but it was a tragic end. The lady desperately needed a unique age rejuvenation item from the wrecked ship, which could not reach it. She died of aging without a specific item. I am terribly upset by her death. The scientist should tell Admiral Nelson the truth about the anti-aging item from the wrecked boat. It reminded me of the film The Leech Woman (1960), which was about anti-aging recipes to keep her alive. I am 65 today and do not see my life long beyond twenty years unless I find a fountain of youth somewhere on Earth.
Wow. Thank you. I totally understand this.
If you could travel forward in time...
The Seaview always looks a lot bigger on the inside than it does on the outside.
Inherited this from the movie. They needed to get cast and crew through the sets. And Irwin was said to be concerned about avoiding claustrophobia in the movie audience.
Get the laser beam ready. Another monster to send to Davey Jones locker.
I LOVE the internet. I just googled Lode Stone Deposit. 😂
I love Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea but the ending of this episode could've been better. And there could've been many spin-off episodes on the topic.
Love this episode and yes additional "fill in" would be welcome!
Missing Sharkey in this episode. Terry Becker was renegotiating his contract with ‘thrifty’ Irwin Allen.
Baffles me that He was on the best show ever
Hi you had an episode uploaded called The Haunted Submarine but I can't find it. Can you upload it again please Thanks
i think its on somewhere im sure i saw it but not watched it yet
Its ok I found it
Who puts the objects back after seaview rock and roll😂
That's Sharkey's job, but he uses epoxy on loose objects so that they never fall off shelves or break. Nelson was pissed when Sharkey glued his pants to his office chair, but at least the Admiral wasn't wearing them at the time.
28:00: Why didn't Nelson just get Chip to throw Ames in the Brig?!
Wow five men short required but still can get underway...😵💫 Chips reaction after the two other officers passed by after the two officers passed behind him he likes snaps, notice the expression on Lee's face after Chips hissy fit it's like wtf dude!
Hi may I ask, do you not have access to season 1 at all
No, unfortunately. You can pay to see it elsewhere - that's why I can't post it here.
@@TooleManTV Unfortunately Season 1s picture layout on Amazon is not as good as yours. Two black bars on either side of picture is distracting
@@paulhennessey2623 That's true, though the video was actually scaled wider by Fox Video, not me. Season one is my favorite of all. But my hands are tied as far as sharing it here.
@@TooleManTV unfortunate.
@@TooleManTV i agree that season 1 is best. That said, what you are doing here is fantastic. The show looks great and there are some good color ones. Besides, who can resist the amazing flying sub?
0:21 Canned food. :0)
