Maybe because it becomes second nature after a certain amount of time.. (?) Playing bass, and guitar it's the same. It becomes second nature and you just incorporate it into your playing almost without even thinking about it..
Congratulations! And happy to hear you will be with us more often in the coming weeks. I am always amazed how you come up with all these amazing tips and techniques! More detailed examples would be helpful! Thank you!
Have just finally got my first harp, and waiting for my teacher to get back from overseas tour … one thing I’ve noticed just messing around is how much work for good sound is needed on muffling as the instrument is so resonant easy to get unwanted tones ringing on. The other thing I was thinking about how best to muffle if playing a melodic line on bass strings. On upper strings the sustain often might be ok but lower strings gets muddy easily. This gives me some good ideas thanks :)
As always thank you 🙏 😊 do you have any tips for Carmen Petra-Basacopol’s Concertino for harp and orchestra ? Congratulations on your pregnancy❤ wish you the best 😊
Harp is awesome!!! It doesn't have to sound dull and antiquated as it is so often portrayed. It can be passionate and soulful or joyful and getyerjigon.
Tell me if you would like more detailed examples of muffling technique!
Yes, please, Chiara
@@dimitria3552 OK, I'll do it!
