There's a game called Venus Blood Frontier with a similar moral choice system. One of those moral choices is your maid asking you what spices you prefer on your steak. If you choose the local spices, you get light side points. If you choose the spices of the Empire, you get dark side points. WTH are those spices?
Now we need an updated video since they got rid of the alignment option 🤦🏻♂️
As a light side sith that wants to unlock the dark side Arccan skin this is very helpful.

Have not been here in a few years, but good to see your videos again because they're really helpful to me + I'm starting fresh again.
Without a doubt, the fastest way is to send your companions out on gathering missions. You will stack up your alignment points faster than any other way.
What I find confusing is when you go over your current alignment cap, you sometimes gain points in the opposite alignment.

@@Swtorista Yeah, I took a character to max Dark side, then all the way to max Light side before. I haven't done much companion resource farming in a while, so I'm not sure if they fixed it giving you the opposite alignment points.
i mean killing everyone and anything you come across in your many adventures seems to do the job just fine

It'd be nice to get some specific suggestions on where would be a good place to wipe a ton of enemies rather than just literally go anywhere.
Play a Sorcerer and zap away.
Or Jugg and zap in a different manner ;)
Yes, you can do this through crafting (gathering missions). It will be very fast. Usually i don't even bother about this, it comes naturally)))
I'm playing a mostly LS Knight, but I want a few DS points here and there without killing someone innocent. This is perfect-now I don't need to go full Vader on younglings
But.....that's the fun part. Think of it as beat saber.

i have 3 gathering crew skills on my main toon - takes only few grade 11 missions to swap from lightside to dark side if i need . i keep alignment around 3000 LS or DS depending on victory state :)
Yes!! I was using them to swap one one of my characters near the "line"
Spam run companion missions. Caveat is if youre not a crafter it gets a little pricey esp at higher levels .

You can run a story line doing it all light side but choosing dark side alignment you get dark side ending it was funny to watch on JC

Um swtor updated it to where you can't toggle the light side or dark side choice box next to mini map
update: alignment selection removed, now the only way is through conversations (i think the same happened with crew skills)
Yea I dont mind doing pvp warzones...I'm absolutely terrible at em. I get 1 kill a game lol but I do get that 1k points so I'm grinding that before the new expansion comes out

Hey there! First off, thank you so much for your channel. For a new player, it is very hard to find amy information even moreso up to date. I wud like to know: Are lightsabers from the CM worth for endgame content? I understood they are empty shells but what does it mean really? Are they only for show while walking in the city? Or are they usable from lv1 to the hardest difficulties of the game?

1. lightsabers from the cartel are entirely cosmetic. you can use them in endgame but you need to upgrade them like you would upgrade any lightsaber levels 1-75 :) This will explain a lot! ruclips.net/video/3erjzDrs-oc/видео.html only weapons do not have an outfit designer.

Very informative, but what would you suggest for a Jedi that was trying to keep a neutral alignment (or possibly fall)? I know the darkside decisions in cut scenes and diplomacy, but does the killing award lightside points since it is a lightside character, therefore combating any darkside points one would have earned from completing a flashpoint?

A lot of people, me included, play for a while, and take time off of it for a while, then come back. The stories and sheer amount of voice acting and dialogue choices make the game worth playing over and over. Enjoy!

You can get lightside points the exact same way as in this video just flip the alignment toggle and do the other 4 diplomacy missions :)

I remember my very very very very very very very very first PvP match! I never was victorious, as I know! So I`m not PvP-champion (or even simply PvP player) at all. )))
But still, no matter what I`m doing now with my female sith assassin NuWa at this moment, now I`m on the 4th phase of the Dark Side, but... ooooh it goes so slow (I still can`t get to the last phase, now I have still only near 93000 d.s. points and still can`t become a complete dark side monster)!!! Laughable, but on the other side I`d say... it`s sad. Maybe I should... should ravage destroy every last one of living soul I see in my way? Lol! ))
Crafting is probably the best way to gain alignment.
I'm not receiving darkside points on most of my toons. I have about 130 toons. Doesn't do any good to report it to customer service. I've not been playing or subbing for about 2 months.
I toggle DS even on my LS toons. Better to have the option of DS looks and not using it than not having it at all with full LS.
Only exception was my LS Inquisitor, because I wasn't sure whether I would get the Darth Imperious title based on my actual choices or my final alignment.

originally DS knights received the title commander or general instead of master. however due to player feedback, jedi knights now receive the title of master regardless of LSvsDS
So I have a level boosted with inquisitor and I was wondering if I was able to give his outfit to my other sith inquisitor (they are both assassins)

swtor got me blocked from getting dark side or lite side points i go through flash points i get none at all it's like it's froze. some toons it don't even show dark or lite side points any where. i reported it but was told to do a bug report. i did a bug report and it disappeared. lol just don't know why i have so much trouble out of this game.
Dark side characters have never interested me. Are you planning on releasing a video on light side ?
There's no change for light side "corruption" - but all the ways to earn dark side points in this video apply 100% to get light side points too.

Yes if that's what you wanna do - you need to kill about 32 worms to get the amount you would get from completing one heroic quest. Or 25,000 worms to go from 0 to Full Dark V :P
@@Swtorista That might seem like a lot but there are tons of those things down there. At high level I can basically one hit groups of them. I wonder which method would be faster. Either way, I'm pretty sure Heroics would be a lot less boring than farming worms.

Correct, it is removed. Get dark side points from anym issions with dark/light choices or from diplomacy/.

Hello! No. the only way to get them is to run missions that have a dark or light side decisions in them, or by running Diplomacy missions.
