It’s been steady. I have been able to enjoy duck, quail, pheasant, crane, and dove. It’s a nice change of pace over eating beef, pork, or chicken. Or seafood as well. I have another hunt coming up which is Javelina but I plan on filming again. I hope to get a new video filmed in a couple days and begin to edit it.

I am considering doing something similar in my area. I live in NE Texas and have easy access to Arkasas/ Texas/Louisiana and Oklahoma so terrain options would be quite diverse. Burger looked GREAT as usual! I love hot banana peppers on my burger!

That was an awesome drone scout, was it not?!? When I observed this on drone I was like, I am getting back there and what a score. There is miles of unexplored trails that I will be back to ride on soon.
From the views to the old cabin I think that is a major bonus that us ATV riders love to have while on trail. Nothing beats it, besides great food!
That is good to know where the little bit of an aaaaangle came from. Every time I ride and I hit spots like this I can hear you say it lol! Good stuff buddy. You got it man. If I ever run into a crapper I am going to do a crapper review, I suppose I should of done a cabin review?
Man banana peppers on a burger is a great touch. I love them on my sandwiches.
This is the right way of spelling Pinion. Pinion is a tree that produces a wild nut that can be eaten raw or roasted. I prefer to roast them with a little salt and man they are delicious. Thanks for watching buddy. That was a sweet place to fly my drone within the canyon next to that windmill. I would assume that cabin is at least 100 plus years old, but I could be wrong also. In this general area there are a lot of homesteads that are hidden. Most are not even mentioned about and so we end up stumbling upon them. Right through the area is the Old Abo Pass Trail system. So I think it brought settlers to the area.

Ruben, great video brother. Always enjoying watching your content. My mom was from Roswell and the Chile is a must. Hehe! Question.. How do you edit your videos? Also not sure if you’ve already explained it in your other videos but.... how do mount your camera gear and what do you use? Voice and the ATV sound is great. Keep up the videos. Stay safe 🤟🏽

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures
      @ManzanoManATVAdventures  4 года назад +2

Thanks brother. You got that right, Chile is a must in New Mexico and one of the biggest questions asked when ordering food is Red, Green, or Christmas. All that means is do you want Red Chile, Green Chile, or Both on your plate, good stuff man.
I have not explained it in my other videos. I use the Cyberlink Power Director 365 to edit my videos. It's not as fancy as Adobe Premiere, but it is packed with great features as well. As for camera gear mounts I am using a chin mount on my helmet and use the GoPro Hero 8 Black for video. I am also using the PowerDeWise Lavalier Lapel Omnidirectional Mic that I run into my GoPro. I also use a windscreen for extra sound protection to reduce wind noise. I have a basic video rundown on how I mic'd up my helmet that can be found in my collection, feel free to check that out. I hope this helps answer your question. I appreciate your support buddy!

There isn't much better than a green chile cheeseburger cooked over a wood fire. That one looked awesome, I'll have to try that with the sliced onion on the grill some time. I'm definitely going to have to check out the Manzanos sometime soon here after watching your videos. The area looks beautiful.

It does get cold enough to hot tent in this mountain range. Most of New Mexico gets snow, I think about the only place that doesn’t is the far south down by Texas. Although we have desert landscape, we have a high elevation desert averaging about 5,000ft and we have high elevation mountains with the highest in the state being 13,161ft. For this video I was riding at about 8,000ft so when it snows it will melt in the sunny sides and stay around in the shaded sides.
This winter I plan on putting together some winter trips. Thanks for watching and commenting.

ManzanoMan Adventure oh and that’s cool you can do that there. Not as much ATV activity in the north east compared to snowmobiling, especially camping

ooh Those roasted chili's were a nice touch, Hatch? Great overnighter Ruben, i was out earlier this week saw folks harvesting Pinyon here in AZ, how do you use them?

The chile is from Lemitar New Mexico. Hatch is a great place to get chile as well. I love the way it smells when being roasted. Did you manage to get some while in Pinyon? I like to roast them up and eat them salted. They also taste good on salads.

How do we find this area? Can you post forest road numbers and possible how to get there? If you do post that, can you show me where to find it?

I will be happy to tell you where this place is at. It's in the Manzano Mountains off of forest road 422 north of the Pine Shadows trailhead area. I think the best way to help you get there is by using coordinates. Take the coordinates and paste them into google earths or google maps search engine. The best place to park is at these coordinates 34.574378, -106.422882. The cabin is located at these coordinates 34.546035, -106.417204. There is a lot more trail that I am still wanting to go and explore. If I can help you more let me know. Thanks for watching!

How is the riding out there north of Gallup? The range looks good to ride through and check out. I have never went because I am not sure where I could ride. But the country is beautiful out there. I have a busy few months ahead but we can plan a ride. I would be willing to meet you somewhere or even travel to ride north of Gallup.

    What is pen yo?

It is a nut that grows in a tree. You take the nut and roast it in some salt and it becomes a tasty snack to eat. It is popular here in New Mexico.
