I'd read that the German fans loved Robin. They really showed it here. That put a big smile on my face! Was a big fan of Herman's Hermits when I was a kid. He's still performing - just at the state fair this Aug.2017. Husband wouldn't go!
Not quite true but near enough I guess. The Gibbs elder sister Lesley and younger brother Andy were born in Manchester and the other 3 were born in the I O M. They did however return to Manchester and lived in Chorlon-cum-Hardy before emigrating to Australia. Peter was born in Manchester and we both attended the same grammar school where I got to know him. We got in touch again during lockdown.
Robin still wore his ID bracelet here. I know that from very early on The BG part of the Gibb brothers all wore one, not sure about Andy. Does Barry still wear his? Thomas Gottschalk must be very tall. Robin is the same height as I am and that man just towers over him.
