2023 has been a tough year for many myself included. I underwent major surgery in December last year with six months in recovery. Would you consider keeping the machinery shed away from the cow house? If you ever needed some extra cubicles an extra span or two onto the end of cow house might be an ideal spot for it

Another great video. Great idea with the shed plans , I'd go for the steel but theres nothing wrong with the ESB poles many a good shed put up with them , you could use the tin on the slatted house for the new end and timber clad the slatted house shed to improve ventilation .Either way it will be a joy to watch and best of luck to you and the family ..and to be honest mothers are the real backbone of every Irish farm.

Firstly thanks for your videos this year, secondly thanks for keeping things real! I usually lose interest in channels as they grow as things tend to become more commercialised with demos or free stuff to promote. Best of luck to them but for me it becomes unrelated to normal life. Your very different with your down to earth just get it done attitude. My two boys were asking me to buy an owl lawmmower to fix up after your last video 😂. That imo says it all. Just make the RSJ’s yourself. Only a few posts and a straight forward job. Save you a fortune. Also, heatguard would be a nice option for the roof. Plenty of light in to work at your machinery.

Hi Adrian I do like your videos, it always gives me Ideas as well. 2023 was a very hard year for me as I lost my mum, trying to move on with the farm here now in Cornwall UK and I like this rain to stop.
My advice when it comes to the cottage restoration.. Go big, the bigger the better. Don't forget, your family will be getting bigger before you know it bro.

Hi Adrian just had a thought whilst watching I do agri with you on it ,you know you were on about building an extention for a machinery shed well you could use it as a barn to store straw as you've said you've no room to store straw ,or build it next to your workshop you've got the choice of the 2 😂

Hi there Adrian thanks for another great year just a we thought from outside the box for your walls in your new shed check with some of the precast people if they have any old odd slabs and slot them down between the girders also check the local adds you might pick up second hand sheets that suit you in saying that check the fie restinstance for insurance purposes in the meantime keep up the good work and I'll add again next year happy new year to one and all keep smiling

A guaranteed way to kill the ivy on the old house is to expose the roots then spill some cuprinol fence paint on the roots. We know because our neighbours dug out the other side of our fence and when they painted the fence it killed the ivy on our side.😅

A guaranteed way to kill the ivy on the old house is to expose the roots then spill some cuprinol fence paint on the roots. We know because our neighbours dug out the other side of our fence and when they painted the fence it killed the ivy on our side.😅
