I love this persons brain and talent so much
Excellent!!!
Can’t wait to see that Supra finished
You and me both!
Love that oil cap , clear and precise instructions 😊
Wow! TDC, position, seals all under 2 minutes! Cool!👍
Looking up a cam grinder and saw you measuring a cam to .0005 on your test stand. Coolio! I’m a hot rodder, restorer, builder, machinist, CNC programmer, electrician, etc. Worked for Rod Millen Motorsports as their CNC guy, then Specialized Hot Rod, then owned my own shop Huntington Beach Hot Rods, before spending 21 years as a mechanic in the Long Beach harbor at the ITS super terminal, doing cranes, and Reefer units. Retired early and building multiple fun projects up here in Big Bear. Saw you while researching custom cam grinders in the area. Gonna get Daniel to fix and improve the grind on what was a very conservative Kawasaki 250 motor factory tune. Also looking at having him spice up an NOS Singer roadster camshaft to make it more suitable to blower. It’s a goofy 1500cc OHC motor with 7:1 compression designed for British 70 octane gas from the fifties. Other than that, I have five high performance motors and transmissions to match rebuilt and ready for existing projects to reach the finish line. Also have three antique speedboats from a 1959 Hullman to a 1965 Nylock Phantom 15, to a 70’s Flatbottom that all need freshening before I’ll put them in the water. Already bought the new parts and paints but it’s always time vs. RUclips, and bad weather! Lol! Nice to see a hot gal turning a wrench, and enjoying it. I always saw doing it yourself as the way to pay for all the tools that allow for it. After a lifetime I have everything from Machine tools, to mig and tig welders, to the LS Starrett tenths incremented thimble ratchet in wood case precision tools, to the biggest box set SnapOn made up till 2014 full of SnapOn tools. Yes, english, and metric as well as British National Fine standard Whitworth based tools where the wrench size describes the nominal thread major diameter, so a 1/4” wrench measures a calculated size based on nominal call out that is like .498 opening so it is just funky, but necessary to build certain old British cars that used it.
You should upload more Short format videos, It helps you come up in my feed and bringd me into your main videos.
In addition to a t-handle, I heard a long boba straw can also help in finding TDC (I'm just looking for any excuse to go get boba). Thanks for the excellent video; the Supra looks amazing already.😊
Faye: *makes new, educational video*
Me, a trained mechanic who should know this: “Write that down, WRITE THAT DOWN!!!”
Good morning Faye!
It's amazing how that simple inductive sensors are sufficent enough, to give exact camshaft position on high rpm-s. They must be something with a pretty low hysteresis. Nice video!
First of all I would like to thank you for your information you gave me on getting my valve cover gaskets replaced on my Tacoma, had the work done and no more leaks Thank you very much. Have you ever seen any of the early celicas from the 70's or the ones that looked like 69 or 70 mustang get worked on these were Toyotas first hot rod's as far as I know.
Missing u.Its been a month since any new video's can't wait

Faye. What are your thoughts on the toyotas (ie tundras, tacos, highlander) going turbo? Are u expecting issues? Have there already been any?

. How Much for Rear trunion Bushings?
Hi Faye... Would you be willing and able to reinvent technical school education. And make it fitting for gifted students and children? Since you are a car mechanic and psychologist and a gifted person yourself? Essentially you are already creating such material.
😁😁👌
My mk3 has the “relay mod”. What does that mean?
I just did a auto to W58 swap and put in another 7MGTE I had, and my friend more experienced with 7M's timed it for me; swapped the CPS & TDC'd it. But my cam lobes are at 10-11 oclock with the gears lined up and the bottom harmonic balancer is lined up at 5. It'll crank forever and sounds like it wants to start but even off ether it won't. I'm cheap as hell and have no timing light but my friend said the way he timed it, it should still start & idle rough atleast. But if the lobes supposed to be around 1oclock and the bottom lined up at 0 did he accidentally put it at 180 out? Do you have a video on how to fix this? Sry I know that's alot but this is my first engine & trans swap ever thanks in advance for any advice
CPS was off a tooth
❤❤❤❤😊
Those CPS always scare me. 😟 This video makes it seem so easy pessy.
Why is it comic sans?
Haha, you said butt oil.
Marry me! 😔😔😔
So when are you going to answer my question? are you a dude faye😢 you keep removing my question yet your response is now showing more and more through.
Why do you keep asking that question?
Do you hate her for some reason?
I mean what has she ever done to you?
Faye is an attractive woman that’s big into cars. How does it get any better than that?
I'm not going to sit here and watch people like you, show me how to repair my car. No offense.
Any advice for someone studying for the ASE's?
