Welcome to my channel! My name is Hurley, but the Vietnamese know me as "Phúc Mập". I've lived in Vietnam for the past 8 years, meeting locals, and traveling to new places around Vietnam and Asia. This channel is to express how much I love Vietnam, its people, food, and culture.

haha I loved how you guys just went separate ways at the end like enough with this collab 🤣
I'm from the older Vietnamese generation, so calling it Saigon earned my respect.
That’s my hood! I’ll have to try out that chicken spot - looks super good.
It's worth a try!
Shoutout đến từ Hồng Kông! Em yêu sống ở VN rồi vì anh!

Hi Phuc, Ed here. Looking for any suggestions. 7’ American guy traveling to Vietnam for the first time. Will go to Ba Ria for a week to visit some family but would like to stay around the Saigon area for a week or two to see the area. Any hotels or food spots you would recommend? Thanks in advance. Appreciate all the content. Long time viewer of the channel.
Perfect
I've eaten at Viet's restaurant in CA. Good food !
Ben tre is good too, just a bit pricy
I love it how he ignores the lottery lady like everybody does in vietnam..lol
“ABC” stands for “Ăn Bỏ Chạy”, aka Dine & Dash, in HTown where I’m from. Not sure if you wanna try that in SG 😅

Last time I was in Vietnam I kept getting sick from the food. Yes it taste good, but they put way too much salt / msg in everything. I also learn to avoid oc, cause every time I ate those in the past going to the bathroom and having a stomachache afterward is a guarantee. Your stomach got to make out of steel to enjoy the food there. GL.
Lol
You’d have to have been born there to get your stomach for street food 😂! My mom in law gets stomachaches from drinking certain bottled water here in the US…she would die eating street food here!
I was there in december and this time I was getting sick from practically everything. I was coughing a lot from the pollution, plegms, sore throats, and there was instances I was feeling dizzy from just getting up from bed. Then the food and ice, I couldn't eat or hold anything in. When I was in hcm I was getting a stomaches every three days. I went to ha noi and I get stomaches every day (there was a day when I go to the bathroom three times that day, if I stay up a little bit longer it would be four). I been coming back to visit Vietnam every few years, but this time it's the worse because I was probably sick 12 days out of the 14 days I am there. It got to a point where I didn't want to eat anything at all and just drink smoothies/other types of drinks. Toward the end of the trip my face was getting so bloated despite barely eating anything, it probably related to the salt/msg which led to water retention health issues (I was so relieved to go back to America and my bloated problem - health conditions return to normal within a week or two).

❤❤🥰🥰🌹🌹
the motorcycle is more important than the people who live in it.
Yummy seafood
So good!
We have stopped ordering any chicken dishes. Although we always find DELICIOUS dishes we are just use to western style chicken butchering (wings, breasts, drumsticks, backs, thighs...). We kept going to places where the whole chicken was just randomly cleaved into tiny chunks and we had to wade through broken bones, cartilage, heads, and feet trying to find some edible meat. We first experienced that in Sa Pa but since moving to Cần Thơ it was more of the random cleaving. We need to get to that semi-fluent Phuc Map level so we can simply say..."chop the head off and bring the rest whole, with a knife, so we can cut the meat off ourselves."
Go home already.
Can Tho is our home. If you mean go back to America...no thank you.
I hate the guy Vietnam (. He forgot Vietnam language- ) Be in Vietnam country. Please speak Vietnamese- and in America speaker English-
If Phuc Mập in Vietnam. Speaker English. That is be fine. Because you foreigner- But Phuc map. Away speaker my language - I m very. Happy for your. Your Respect - Because for some Vietnamese. Understand. What you are talking about
Thank you brother Phuc mập. I’m all way be your good Fan For every your video .
Nói tiếng Anh cũng có điều tốt là giúp quảng bá VN đến cả thế giới hay chỉ ít với fan của anh ấy, thời đại quốc tế rồi đừng bắt bẻ chi li quá bạn ạ.
What’s wrong with him speaking English? He worked hard to learn it, why not us it? Plus, Phuc’s watchers are from all over, not just Vietnam.
You speak good Vietnamese for a white guy lol
I'll take it
