We've wanted to come to Vietnam for SO LONG. It feels amazing to finally be here 😁🇻🇳
When I lived and worked in Vietnam before I retired and moved back to the state before the pandemic, my grandson and granddaughters came to visit me. After they had a taste of all kinds of Vietnamese coffees, they screamed at me: Grandmom, why did you tell me about Vietnamese coffees? We needed them for nights that we had to stay up past midnight to study for exams. Now that we have Vietnamese coffee in our system, we are not going back to Starbucks!!! Before they ended their summer vacation, they demanded I to take them a supermarket where they bought different types and brands of Vietnamese coffee. Let me tell you that each of their carry-on luggage was filled with coffee boxes.
Your grandkids biggest take away from Vietnam was coffee?..😂...fools
Vietnam is an amazing country. So much to see and do as well as stunning diversity in terms of landscape and culture. I would suggest, Da Nang, Hoi An, Da Lat, Phong Nha, Tam coc--Ninh Binh, Ha giang loop. And of course Hanoi. Each of these areas have their own special appeals. You will definitely need you full 60 days LOL
Wow I saw your clip has many subtitles, even Vietnamese! I can't wait for 2 months you guys explore here! I love Vietnam.
Was in Vietnam this time last year as I haven't been back in almost 10 years, i must admit the country has changed, but not much in a way that it has lost it's charm, which i loved.. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment I was there, having staying in district 4, I was impressed by how many places I could walk and eat, I never got hungry as there was so many choices to eat.. i can't wait to head back again soon.. I hope you guys have the best time in Vietnam and what she has to offer..
Vietnam is waiting you
Chào mừng đến Việt Nam. Hai bạn thật đáng yêu,chúc hai bạn có kỳ du lịch đầy năng lượng và thú vị🎉
Vietnam was a country devastated by war, but Vietnam developed very quickly after 1975. Enemies like the US and France have now become friends and business partners. Vietnam has a very clever foreign policy.
Traffic literraly inches away from each other....yet, no road rage - amazing!
Great video! Its very interesting to see the transformation that Saigon went through over the last 50 years while preserving history
The dry season in southern Vietnam this year lasts quite long, causing hot weather. But the first rains of the season have begun to come. When the rainy season comes, you will very miss the beautiful sunny days. But that is a characteristic of Saigon's weather, in one day it can be sunny and rainy many times. When it's hot outside, find iced milk coffee, orange juice or a fresh coconut. When it rains, find a hot pot restaurant, or sit and sip a hot cup of coffee. Enjoy the trip!
welcome to Vietnam. Wishing you both a very enjoyable trip. In Vietnam there are many delicious dishes and many beautiful scenery.
Vietnam is a small country and quite diverse from South to North. The land is more and more landscaping as you go from South, Central then North. Don't hesitate to communicate with locals if you are interested in it. English is not spoken as widely as in the Philipines though but locals love talking to tourists. It depends on whether you like to stick around touristic places or off the beaten track when looking for recommendations. Phu Quoc island while you are in the South, Ha Tien town is 1 and half hour from Phu Quoc by express ferry. Da Lat city is still considered South. Qui Nhon is a beach city but less hustling and bustling than Nha Trang and Da Nang, Hoi An ancient town is amazing. Hue is former capital of Vietnam before Ha Noi became the capital city. Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Ha Giang Ha Long Bay, Sa Pa and more.
While you are in Sai Gon, take Grab bike to Thu Duc city or Dustrict 7 where Phu My Hung city is, Thảo Điền is only on the other side of the river and that is where many expats hang out. It has lots of Western restaurants, pubs and other stuffs.
By the way your video is beautiful. Congratulations.
Oh next time when you book Grab, ask the rider if he can bring another rider because you have 2 people. He will call another Grab rider of you just have to book to rides on 2 phones and ask the riders to wait for each other to depart at the same time.
Cinematography was so great! Enjoyed the visual of the street life and the tour of the historic buildings of Ho Chi Minh City. Good show!
I love the way that you travel kinda slow paced, to really get the vibe of the whole countries you visit, not only the most iconic places. Can't wait for that food tour next week!
That’s exactly why we love slow travel! We love feeling like we can experience more than just the classic spots ☺️
@@EricandSarah Hey I hope you try the ballut egg !! Just saying :)
I am Vietnamese. But I take times to watch your interesting videos to see Vietnam and your happiness. So weird
I loved my time there.
Welcome to Vietnam 🇻🇳!! Hope you both have a fantastic experience!! Looking forward to all of your Vietnam contents
The problem with taking grab "separately" is that you don't go together 😂 such an iconic sentence, the fact that both of you said thank you without handing over the helmet proves you're a couple, i think the street food needs a video of its own, food tour in HoChiMinh.... Great video with positive vibes again..
Hahaha we’re slowly becoming the same person 🤣🤣
Love your video. Informative and fun. We will be in VN next week
Welcome to Vietnam! Hope you guys enjoy our vibrant city and the whole Vietnam
It's a pleasure to have you two visit our country, knowing that everywhere there are good and bad things

@ericandsarah Vietnam is great and there's a lot to see. I recommend the following places:
-Ninh Binh- amazing natural landscape
-Tam Chuc Buddhist Temple-largest Buddhist temple complex in the country, about 2 hrs south of Hanoi. Its actually on the way to Ninh Binh
-Da Nang-great coastal city and location of Ba Na Hills theme Park (golden hands statue)
-Hoi An- a little touristy now, but still cool to see
-Phu Quoc island- the Hawaii of Vietnam.
Very interesting video. Love you're in Vietnam, it's definitely other world. Visit the south Saigon
like Vinh Long, Can Tho, there are a lot fruits there.Try Pho it's a kind of soup so yummy. Nice video

On my list, but don't like heat! Trivia: My grandparents used to eat at a place in Boston where the pastry chef was (drum roll) Ho Chi Minh. Yes, THE man himself!😅 He was also a street vendor in Paris. Hey, ya gotta do whatever it takes while you're waiting to be in charge!😅
Ahh yes the heat can be a lot 🥵
Great video guys. Love seeing all the cuisine.
Nice video, enjoy watching it. Glad you two have exciting time there.

Bánh Tráng Nướng CÔ MẬP
Bánh Tráng Nướng = Roasted Rice Paper &
CÔ MẬP = Ms. FATSO. (as her proud brand)
It's not offensive when say somebody fat in VN, similarly: "you're spotty", or "you have grey hair" or "you look older than last time we met".
They take it as a simple fact, not being offended. So when they say "you're pretty" they really mean it, not a diplomatic gesture at all.
You are pretty & cheerful Sarha.
Thanks for showing us Saigon/HCM city.
Chào các bạn ❤
Great video thanks for sharing

The cathedral was being renovated when I was there in 2017.
So it’s been like that for a while!
Repairs at Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral took a long time because the building was damaged, Covid-19 and the war interrupted the source of materials from Europe, according to Father Ho Van Xuan. Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral has been repaired since 2017 with a plan to complete in 2-3 years, but it will take a decade, expected to be completed in 2028.
Can you make budget??
Eat in the suburbs ,the food is tasteless and crazy expencive in the tourist places in d1
You forgot Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in your map.
🇻🇳😀✌️
5:00 vpn ở việt nam là không cần thiết, trừ khi bạn truy cập web khiêu dâm ở america
The food look great n sound awesome. Thanks 4 sharing. 😊
Where is Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Island of Vietnam in your map? Please dont bring the map which Chinese made and then put here. Thank you very much from Vietnam.
Motorbike is cause of traffic and bad for the Tourist!
Did you get any food poisoning? Especially with the ice?
Cringe.
Ban thang market for tourists (hint scam). Hihihi. Have fun.😊
