Bánh Canh Cá Lóc, Mi Quang and Ban Xéo are my top 3 dishes in Vietnam, actually I lived in Da Nang in 2020. Good memories, I love Vietnam.
DaNang is such a great city. Def gonna hit up that Banh Xeo spot! I too have never gone beyond the peninsula temple. Next time, I’ll keep driving. Thanks Phuc! Great video. Happy 4 year anniversary!

Is it weird if I enjoy eating Banh Xeo by itself without wrapping in rice paper? Gonna try it next time I do cook it but I previously thought it was meant to be eaten by itself.

I'm learning how to make bánh xèo but they tend to be the bigger ones. Those small ones look easier to deal with.
Make them even smaller and slender like an elongated taco, then you just have to dip and dig in no cutting.
Put some beer in the mixture make it more crispy

Phúc nên thử Bánh Xèo Quảng Ngãi ở đường Châu Thị Vĩnh Tuế một lần nhé. Sẽ có sự khác biệt về hương vị khá rõ ràng giữa 2 loại. Nhưng nói chung là rất ngon :)

Congrats on the 4 years. That banh xeo restaurant is great. Been therea few times when in danang. Be careful with going with Google reviews. We went to a highly rated banh xeo restaurant in Saigon, it was very bland not a lot of flavor and super expensive. We made the mistake of not realizing it was a bad decision when it was all tourists and tours there. We were the only vietnamese people there lol.

I've been to central VN 6 times and keep on forgetting to try Cao Lau. I love central VN's cuisine. Even the banh trang cuon hits differently there. The only thing about vn is the banh trang they serve at restaurants are too dry and hard.
