For breakfast growing up in Saigon, we ate banh cuon or french bread with scrambled eggs. Rarely we ate Pho in VN, maybe Xoi once in a while .

Che dau xanh is delicious, love it. My friends probably wouldn’t try snails, but oc len is so good. Chan ga is another great tasty dish my friends wouldn’t probably try, their loss.
Always looking for good chè but most of the time during the day when they're not out yet. Love that market!

Saigon breakfast: Cơm tấm, bánh mỳ, bánh mỳ chảo, bò nè, phở, bún nước lèo các loại, nui, mỳ, xôi, bánh canh, etc so many more
Great choices bro. Im not too keen on Banh Uot, but the other five are some of my favourites
Personally, I prefer Bánh Cuốn, but depends on your khẩu vị

Great content brother!! Just a suggestion, you should edited the videos subtitle in Vietnamese that way you can get more viewers from that native country and around the world. Because most of your videos is in English anyways. Keep up the good work and bet of luck.
Thanks a lot. So all of the videos have Vietnamese available in the settings. I used to burn the subs into all of the videos, but it took too much time with not enough return. That's why I have Eng/Viet available with the CC option now.

Thank you for spreading the bánh canh cua gospel! I was very devastated when I couldn't find a single place that made this dish during my one year in America. Luckily though my aunt learned the dish and cooked it for me.

Sorry, but 2 of them were in chợ Bàn Cờ, and don't really have an address. For the Bò Né, I put the address at 2:38 in the video, but it is 20/6 & 7 Nguyễn Trường Tộ, Q4, HCMC

I think bo ne means dodging beef, not sizzling beef....whereas banh xeo is sizzling crepe. Bo luc lac is shaking beef.
technically yes. I have that definition in my Instagram video, but it is literally sizzling beef when you get it
@@phucmapvlog It is sizzling, but by name "xeo" is the word for sizzling. It's the sound made when the batter is poured vs what you do when you're dodging the beef because it's hot or splattering or whatever. LOL

Chè is one that I just can't get behind. I love bò né and bánh canh cua, but the mix of flavor and texture in chè is something that just doesn't feel "right" for me, even after a decade of eating Vietnamese food.
