Notes - Needs practice. This is actually the first time hearing myself play this particularly demanding piece of music. Not bad for a first try, but I will improve it.
This is 'CLASSIC PETER' Yes, I know you can play this better, however, I can hear the intent! I love your witty voicings! Those dynamics, those colours, and the pathos, and, some those Haydn tricks, you bring out wonderfully. You are never dull. If this is an example of your 'not best playing, I look forward, so very much to when you have worked more on this fine, witty and interesting playing! What a lovely gift for Xmas! Thank you!
This is a piece I learned about 25 years ago, and hadn't played since then. So this is me playing it without practicing it yet. I made this recording to show me what I need to work on, to produce my best possible performance. I read it off the page to jog my memory.
I'm laughing at the way my fingers randomly spazzed out at 1:34. I felt like I was about to lose control of the performance at that moment. But I held it together.
Hi Peter. Congratulations on this difficult piece from the Master. I am beginning to learn the piano (56 years old) and am hesitant between the P525 from Yamaha and the FP90x from Roland. Have you tried the 90x ? Thank you.
This was definitely not me at my best, but thanks just the same! I haven't actually practiced the piece yet. I learned it 25 years ago, and this was my first try at it. I've GOT to stabilize the tempo, and work on phrasing, note omissions, et cetera...
I have not tried any other digital pianos.
The P-525 is a SUPERB instrument.
It sounds as tho I am gushing everywhere, I promise, I am not!
lol go ahead;)
