My car went into limp mode after advising DPF was filling up. Threw up all sorts of EML codes. I had a carbon clean and then a forced regen and the smoke that came out was unbelievable. Really thick stuff too. Must have only took 10 minutes or so. Only had it done today and it’s been running like a dream all day, wonder if it’ll last 👀
This is obviously when it has a fault on the vehicle the engine was rebuilt and the exhaust system had been cleaned but there still was some oil in the system Normally you wouldn't see the dpf working
Yes! It’s an absolute particulate joke! 🗣🗣🗣Just like all the energy and depletion of minerals and energy it takes to produce one EV electric battery. It’s elitist totalitarian fascist authoritarian corrupted controlled world
Ok I’m doing this from memory so here goes! You’ll need to get the vehicle ready before starting a regeneration all faults must be repaired or cleared except for the DPF fault itself If the DPF is blocked or has too much carbon deposits it will have to be removed and cleaned Cut the DPF to create access then leave it in cleaning solution overnight then we high pressure wash them and dry them out with compressed air, weld back up and refit the unit then commence the pre conditioning of the system New oil and filter Reset the DPF Fully warming the engine Over 1/4 of a tank of fuel Outside in an open space not too close to other vehicles It’s basically following the instructions on the machine of your choice. We use a Span On machine But there is a manual option of driving the vehicle in a forced regeneration drive Full temperature again 3rd or 4th gear Over 2500 rpm constantly for 20 minutes without dropping below that 2500 rpm not too much higher You can damage the engine if you’re too rough
Gotta love how 'clean' the DPF junk is. My 96 Hiace doesnt even smoke like that after going around the clock. Come to think of it my 96 Hiace during the MOT is EEV when the carbon is measured. (buut then again i drive HVO100)
Ive stumbled across this video and think you may be able to help me mate haha. If a dpf has been removed and mapped out, what would be the cause of the van (mk 7 transit euro 5) still smoking? Especially when going up hills or coming to a stop. Do you think it would be the 5th injector in exhaust needs removing? Cheers 🔧
Without an inspection it’s almost impossible to say all I can say is check the turbo for a worn turbine and the injector in the down pipe normally fails and this is the biggest cause of DPF issues on these systems.
This particular vehicle had an engine failure and was repaired. They would normally burn it off whilst on the road and you shouldn’t see anything like this. It’s purely because the exhaust was contaminated with oil and cleaning chemicals
No polar bears were harmed in the making of this video…

Seems mad that a clean running system ultimately when cleaned kicks out all that shit, isn’t that kind of defeating the object

@@domenicoforte1799 what you say doesn’t make science. Burning particles doesn’t make them go away. It just make them smaller and more dangerous!

If you cut the DFP does this not mean an MOT fail based on the new rules? (DPF visibly tampered with)
@@andrewsmall6568 When we do it it's put back as original so the Weld is perfect and there is not DPF removal just Cleaning
Any Diesel vehicles after 2010 have to have a DPF unit
Got to love the Government and their endless stupidity!
I wished to smell this smoke
Trust me you haven’t missed anything
Smells great
My van does it weekly by it self 😂

Can you please explain what you actually do? it would be helpful to me
Description is at the top. Easier to do if you’ve got the correct equipment
Good luck

How is this environmentally friendly? You burn off what it captured?

❤😊
Get ABIT of red in her an sort it out!!
No required to do like this
This happens at the best times, too. Is this really better? Clean diesel is a scam.
C’est normal c’est un FORD 😂
Boohooo
i bet it ran a million times better after that.
That’s why I fixed my vw. Runs better had better mileage and makes liberals wet their pants and cry.
