Last minute or so of this song is one of the greatest things in dds history. Absolutely heartbreaking.
This has instantly become one of a favourites behind Before I Cool Off.
we have the same 2 favorite DDS songs!
i’ve entered such a strange state of mind since listening to this
never thought dds would write a patrick bateman core song, but here we are
Patrick Bateman Core??? Lol
tech is such an absurdly great writer, when i first got into dds i was genuinely shocked that level of lyricism came from a mostly electronic band
beautiful, insane, ugly and profane, just like the times that we live in.
Song of the summer
dds kings of catharsis
This shit right here made me tear up a little.
This song should open the Grammy's next year. Inconceivably an anthem!
I love this. I'm glad the world gets to hear this!
but my body wouldn't let me die
Same fam
It's crazy how consistantly good dds is. at least a 9.9-10/10
absolutely impecable song
This is a wonderful start to my day :) thx DDS
Beautiful song, passionately brutal
Simply devastating. A work of art.
Can we also talk about how pretty the song gets at 3:25ish mark like its just eeeee its so beautiful
This feels like a Mojave 3 song. Good stuff.
pretty, dynamic song - I feel a shroud hanging over my head now
Is it death's shroud?
It can be like that sometimes.
The vevo watermark is sending me
that sounds like an alive’s dynamic shroud
bahahahaha
Life’s dynamic shroud
i need therapy after this song . 🙁
this is the weirdest cover of Piano Man i've ever heard
i checked where this song was in the tracklist of Before The Killing Spree. it's the final song. the lyrics check out lol
so good
wow
Best tunes to repair cameras to
love when I find a camera channel I follow in the dds comments
damn
Jeez (in a good way)
dds managed to make a beautiful song about one of the most difficult and sensitive subjects: incels are people. people that are very wrong in their beliefs but none the less people with feelings and subjectivities. it's actually kinda of sad
what makes you think it's about incels?
@@evrimklc7433 the lyrics hahaha
This is something an incel would say
It’s like if the soundtrack to Endless Ocean met My Bloody Valentine
Quite a stylistic heel turn for them! Which one of the three members is singing here?
Tech
What genre would one call the peaceful piano instrumental at the start?
Singer/songwriter or just pop
the kind of song to end up in the wrong hands
is that a pond full of urine?
I’m just about at the 6 minute mark and still waiting for the brutality 🤔
Listen to the words being said maybe 🤔
Song of the year? I think maybe, because I haven’t heard a song this truly devastating in a long, LONG time. I’m a new fan of DDS since ‘You Like Music,’ but this single cemented my want to listen to everything they ever put out. Because even if the rest of their singles are only HALF this good, they’ll be all-time classics in my mind.
Who would've guessed that an 80's pop ballad and Shoegaze would go so well together?
Every time i thought it couldn't get darker it did. 10/10.
absolutely fucking brutal, wonderful work as always
Brutal is not the right word
I _hate_ and despise how much I relate to this song.
Are you a murderer by any chance?
@@Isntme6336 an anthem of self hatred with only an idiots smile to redeem it (in a good way). 10/10. its like if Candyman or Ichi made a song
Dds cant miss
WOOO BEST TECH SONG EVER
actually might be this is so fgood
🪑 🦢
so damn good
wonderful.
🪑🔪
real
👁
a ballad of a man who has succumbed to lies and insanity and now wears it proudly
lmaooooo
