Scharnhorst-class were not battlecruiser, mind you, but full fledged battleships, that only recieved a reduced caliber of main guns, to fitout Bismarck and Tirpitz first.
@@warlord8525 It depends on what size gun you count suitable for a BC, and how fast it is. The Scharnhorst-Class were actually slower than the Bismarck-Class, but had more armor. The reason they're considered by some Battlecruisers is because of their 11" armament.
Gneisnau (scharnhorst class ship) was planned to have 15in guns, meaning it will be considered as a battleship while its sister ship remained to be battleship/battlecruiser.
The correct choice of boiler technology: natural, if you have nothing else or enough funnel capacity. Induced, if natural does’t do it but induced does. Forced, when you are so short of funnel capacity that you are willing to pay extortion prices in money and weight for more. Balanced: better than natural and induced, but not extra-extra heavy and expensive like forced. Should be your default.
They’re not a terrible option if you’re hunting a battlecruiser, they fire fast and will do damage against the paper thin BC armour. They also save weight so your battleship can have a chance of catching BC’s.

The thing is that.... Chinese ships in WW2 never exceeded 3,000 tons, the closest largest ship the Chinese had was the 7,200 ton Dingyuan class ironclads which they brought from Germany in the 1880s
Considering it was supposed to be a commerce raider she would have taken extra shells but you did not. Those extra shells could have helped and possibly saved you
It wasn't turning not because it had a damaged rudder, but because I am pretty sure the ramming is not yet implemented? It was obviously the game trying to calculate a non-collision course for both of the ships. And I am pretty sure that like before, the two ships will just bounce off of each other harmlessly instead of doing damage to.
“When it’s ready.” I rather have them take longer and release a game with less bugs and more features and content than rush it and get bad reviews and bad sales and having to abandon Dreadnoughts as a commercial write-off.
For me to be honest stealth it sounds like a a battleship can fire A deadliest biological weapon To use a transport To sent it to enemy country for biological war
If I were building a commerce raider, it would have an 11" main battery to fight ships it can't outrun, i.e cruisers, and a secondary battery of 6", to sink commerce vessels. Sound familiar?
I love this game but my potato powered PC makes it REALLY laggy. If I was looking at my ship and it fired it would go to like 3 FPS..... I love the explosions and firing animations in this game 17:09 Eye and Ear candy 😋😋😋
It's the wrong flags, however, for the Republic of China, which would have been the case for 1938. It's the flag for the Qing Dynasty that's on the ship.
Maybe you can sumilate a that could happen, in WW2 when France just stop war with germany, many vassel join the "forces de la France Libre", but the main naval forces were in Mer El Kebir, the Bristish surround them and force them to surrender, French were disoriented, and finaly, britain use bomber and boat to destroy many and many of this forces. at this range vocal insults lol!!. just bought the game. i want to know ur thoughts on the campaign preview. for me feels kinda boring really feels like playing rule the waves ripoff. which i got 200hrs maybe tho. but got tired of.
Exposing your broadside?? I know it's just a game and perhaps I'm being overly harsh but in reality when a broadside ship fires on a approaching or retreating ship within effective range around 15deg either side of 90 degrees then you've got them. Firing down the length of the ship is like rolling a turtle over and stabbing it in the soft belly. Broadside is harder to hit and damage than down the length. In a naval engagement ships tried to stay broadside because that's where the armor was and the ship was only 100-130ft wide at most, but hey what's history other than an inconvenience? Unfortunately the armoring and gunnery model in this game is wrong. A reading of one book on the subject would dispel any doubts. The way we're required to play the game is arcade and to me it is a big disappointment. I wish they'd change this but alas no one would probably buy the game when it comes out because they want an alternative to that other game and expect this game to behave similarly since that's what the market believes happens in a naval engagement. It is embarrassing really. Perhaps they could have realistic mode and as well as this mode.
what is this. The game is not even out in early access. If i see all of this on youtube i want to play it now. By the time it actually releases i dont give a shit anymore because you cant keep my interest in this for a year.

Big weapons (AP), thick armor and good radar. Torpedoes make them scatter. Make use of that time to maneuver.

Have you realized that the actual good looking Yamato"s gun in this game is 16-17" guns.
I found that the player controlled ships are just really tanky if not a tank tank it ends up being a dodge tank. While AI gets penned more too often.
