German BB : get hit by 90 24 inch torpedoes

@@HMSConqueror Bismarck: Swordfiaashh!!!!!!!

To be fair, Bismarck is a good example of why this video is almost kind of slightly realistic. The first torpedo that struck Bismarck hit the torpedo belt (like a solid 90% of the torps int this video), and did practically nothing. Bismarck simply ate that torpedo, and that's considering its torpedo defences were not the strongest on the planet, and that it displaced less than half as much as the ships in this video. Musashi took something like 13 torpedos before she sunk and she most likely had a less impressive torpedo belt than these ships (considering they have the best torpedo belt in the game and weigh 105,000t).
It isn't entirely unbelievable that the torpedo that hit Bismarck and jammed its rudder would simply do nothing to these ships (and 0 times 200 is still 0). That being said, I am fairly certain these torpedos are significantly larger than the ones that hit Bismarck, and I'm pretty sure 6 torps hitting the same spot would cause enough damage to progressively dismantle the torpedo belt. This would ensure the ship's quick demise.
All in all, the events of this video are less ridiculous than it seems at first, though there is still no doubt in my mind that 150 torps on one ship would still simply remove that side of it.
Edit: also yeah I know like 0.5 people are going to read this but *shut*
@@settratheimperishable4093 bro I just made a joke 🤣
The reason those ships took so little damage was because of torpedo bulges, but after more than a hundred torpedoes, I doubt you would have a torpedo bulge left.
After more than a hundred torps I doubt there would be a ship left
It would have been hanging in tatters and acting like a sea anchor, possibly counteracting the helm completely.

Hey Stealth, i got the game because of your videos. It seems you haven't discovered the cheese mechanics yet. If a compartment is red, the damage dealt to it after turning red, wont actually do much despite the high numbers. I believe that is why hitting the germans with 90 torps didn't have much of an effect. The reason i call it a cheese mechanic is because i discovered that if you make a long ship and always keep the bow directly towards the enemy, at some point the front will be completely destroyed, and thus all shots/torps hitting the front will have no effect, making your ship pretty much invincible, just like the battleships with the entire bottom row destroyed. Love the vids man
Damage saturation huh? That's kinda annoying...
This was a bug. Normally even a BB would shit itself after at most 10 torps and even a uber BB wouldn't survive this
medieval 2 fan, greetings
Torpedo protection on ships should have their own health bar in game, which reduces its effectiveness the more its damaged, thus reducing its capacity to mitigate torpedo damage.
The sound the torps made when you got 60 hits was amazing. I had a good laugh. Early in the video "were not using torpedoes", me who has seen the thumbnail, looks into camera, "oh really".
Kitakami: I have 40 Torpedoes!
Stealth: Hold my beer!
And this is why, when you need torpedoes, you avoid buying from America. They just might send you some of their older Mark 13s or 14s.
Or just some of the mark 14s they never fixed so run 10 feet below the target, and can't detonate either magnetically or with contact fuzes, only punching small little holes in the side of the ship as it slams into it... If they hit at all.
@SallinKari
That’s the mk13, as far as I can recall, though correct me if I’m wrong
@@vladfedonkin4731 Nope. I did recall the mark 13 was a special purpose and it turns out it was the airdropped. It had very similar problems as the mark 14s so you might have confused it due to that since they both were plagued with issues until basically the end of the war, but the mark 14s were the surface ships torpedo.
@SallinKari
Yeah, I just confirmed. Either way, my point stands xD
@@vladfedonkin4731 The thing I find funny is that the wiki says that after all the problems were solve it was reliable torpedo.
Yeah... after it was rebuilt from the ground up.
Russian ahipbuilders:How many torpedoes do you want?

Titanic: Unsinkable *dies after grazing an iceberg*

When I see that the Yamato sank after at least 11 torpedoes and 6 bombs with his big anti-torpedo protection, it's really sad h_h
That's because the Navy had learned from sinking the Musashi. They focused all their torpedo attacks on one side, to overwhelm the ship's ability to correct the list via counter-flooding.
German Super Battleship: * hit by 90 torpedoes. *
Commander: I'm glad we're using a hack. :)
At 12:07 in the video and 4:20 (lol) in the game's combat log, your battleship took a main turret penetration which eventually blew the whole ship up due to flash fire. It was farther down in the log than the secondary hit you saw.
Hood intensifies
Yes sir you are correct. Main gun penetration.
Torpedo meme Ship
12:18 Tovarish it seems your ship's turret possess a similar automatic turrret ejection system as your T-80 tanks in Wargame.
Ultimate Admiral Dreadnought identification of battleships: "Is it a heavy cruiser? No, too big, must be a battlecruiser or a battleship". Japanese identification in WWII when seeing a bunch of destroyers and escort carriers: "Holy f*ck did they brought all of their capital ships here?!"
but in the case i think you are on about for the japanese where a small force forced the yamato away the japanese misidentified because of the constant air attacks never actually seeing the enemy force because of them having no carriers in that group
@bruh the japanese had the 3 I400 class and the type b class for a total of 47 submarines yes that is a lot but they are not even mentioned why do you bring them up?
@bruh ohhh but that isn't really a joke saying they have submarine carriers is more a fact since as I stated they had 47 of them so yeah
My idea to fix this is have the torpedo belt become less and less effective the more torpedoes it takes, as effectively a separate hull portion that doesn't affect the structure. So yeah the first 24 inch torpedo might not do much, but the one right behind it should hurt more.
Comrade there was a typo on the munitions orders. We packed the torpedo warheads with excrement instead of explosives. Sooo sorry hope it doesn't effect anything. Oh and just so you know I keep pulling this out and watchign when I want a good laugh ... Hit by 90 torpedoes and a German Warship we call that Tuesday ... lol
You want these torps packed with high excrement??? Ok comrad

That was rough, Stealth. Hilarious to watch and hopefully funny to make.
Every single one took OVER 100 24" torps to sink... Ya that needs some balance work.
Yep. More torpex.
at 25:28 when he says "oh look at these things" anyone else notice he kinda put a russian accent? that was great
12:40 so basically what happened to HMS Hood.
Yup lol and funny how we can see this ship in the video blow its whole turret up into the sky lol
The Hood's flash fire was from a very, very, very (un)lucky hit.
Hahahaha those big size destroyers made me laugh very hard you re crazy haahahahahahha
Germain Captain: What is with these Russian battle ships? They only have what appear to be 9in single guns! Are these guys having a laugh?
German officer: Uhhhhhh sir torpedoes in the water!!!
German captain: What? They don’t have any destroyers?
German officer: what we thought were AA emplacements are just torpedo tubes.
German captain: DEAR GOD.
German officer: There’s more.
German captain: NO..... wait don’t we have like 30inces of torpedo protection?
German officer: Ohhh yea! We’re fine

German captain: See we’re fine.
Musashi says: 19 torpedo and 17 armour penetrating bomb hits and another 18 near misses by the bombs.
UA:D says: hold my beer for a moment.
Pre & During WW2, France was playing with ~17in BB gun (430mm cannons) designs, while Germany was going to rebore their 16in cannon to 16.5in (420mm).
Scharnhorst eats 47 torps.
Sailor: Captain, structural reduced by 2%!
Captain: lets get some coffee.

Now this is some really SUPEIROR GERMAN ENGINERING
Watch crew: Captain, theres about 100 torpedoes to the starboard!!!
Captain: Turn off the sonar.
Crew: What??!!
Captain: Turn off the sonar. We cannot evade and they cannot damage us, so why should we care?
Feels like I’ve been hit by ninety torpedoes.
I spoke to the ship builders asking why it took so many torpedoes to sink a ship and they said they thought you asked for 24mm torpedoes not 24 inch ones! :-)
Lol, you really got Hooded with the Imperator Alexandr II - left your secondary weapons armour low. If I was playing the Germans I'd switch to HE and burn your superstructure down. 15-inch armour on turrets is actually fine... if you weren't in CQB with 60 16-inch main guns...
Meme videos are the best - and you make the best meme videos. What a gem. :)
I think they still need some work on realistic armor and torpedo bulges
Daniil Kvyat approves this 👍
If getting hit by 90+ 24 inch torpedoes is Tuesday I don't want to know, what Monday is like
Bart : I better go check out this battleship Mungo character.
[Bart reaches for his torpedoes]
Jim : Oh no, don't do that, don't do that. If you torpedo him, you'll just make him mad.
hit with 90 torpedoes ... it doesn't matter ..... I hear the Bismarck crying in circles
6:16 so basically the stereotypical equivalent of a Scotsman or German
Damn man, that was fun. Thanks for the laughs.
If the Bismarck was made of this steel it would have taken at least 7 years to sink
Na we would still be trying sink it today
Last Video I‘ll watch beforw going to long time therapie. watching you since 2016 hope you‘ll do fine. Greetings from northern germany You’re Great
Good luck Lenno. I hope you come out stronger and healthier on the other side.
Hey just a suggestion to try... always use "light" shells and "increased number of shells". The pros/cons of each of these offset each other but you get more shells and faster reload. In the game where a single hit can destroy a lighter ship this is almost a necessity. The reduced damage is almost un-noticeable vs larger ships. Additionally Anti Torp 3 is the best bang for the buck in anti torp vs tonnage offset. Your pretty much spot on going as fast as possible on the larger ships due to the way accuracy is currently calculated. I personally tend to favor twin turrets rather than triple for increased accuracy. Finally you can easily throw 30" of conning tower armor on with it barely affecting your cost/tonnage.
R&D stumbled across the true plans of the Bismarck
Oh god this is too fun to watch!!
Battleship detonates..
Feels Hood man.
If I recall correctly both the Yamato and the Musashi at least took ten torpedo hits and several bombs before they went down. But that was in RL. Those German ships were cheating they used they used the "nope" clause.
The kitakami that has fueled with vodka.
i like how the first ship turned to avoid, but then after that none of them game a damn.
German after about 100 torpedoes:
*"THIS IS FINE"*
This happens while I remember about the scenario where he made a german BB or a BC that got ammoracked by 1 torpedo and almost sinked cause of that.
I think torps need rework, not a single real ship would have survived even 50 torps, let alone 100+
Or the damage modelling.
I mean. They need to remake the torpedo damage logic
After that many torps I would have expected them to have drilled there way through the entire ship
After that many torps there shouldn't be a ship anymore
Wargaming see this video
Wargaming:hhhhmmmm money
Wargaming feasting on the tears of battleship captains
Ohhhhh man returning to this video after the most recent changes is hilarious.
The first battle was a classic case of the Russians storing too much vodka near their turrets.
Konig: captain torps to port
.hit plus 30
.hit plus 70
Konig: We have be hit by 130 torps
Captian: ha they are nothing more than russian vodka bottles 🤣🤣
Russion battleship: 😱😱😱
31:05 insane lol it reminds me of "Pacific Theater of Operations" 1 on SNES
If you feel like your having a bad day... you probably haven't been hit by 90 torpedoes
--stealth17gaming
For me that will be flag ship of stealthanistan navy the masculine of Russian heavy cruiser with heavy arm capability of a allied weaponry
I laughed historically at this video much needed comedy 🤣
24:42: These are the children of the euryalus.
As funny as this seems, it was the actual truth in RL, until 1943. The Mark 14 torpedoes were even worse than these, and failed to detonate even on direct impacts, although they usually sailed under the enemy and kept going.
Uh sir. We got about 90 torpedo splashes.
Ah yes, yes. Yet it's not an issue.
Keep firing.
I guess you just inflicted so much damage that the game went into the negative, an overflow in the code
Unfortunately no. There was a torpedo patch a while back that made them essentially ineffective except in very specific situations. Early era when ships had little torpedo protection also saw very short range torps, every ship can have sonar, and late era with good torpedo also saw a vast increase in torpedo protection...
I'm sure this program cannot possibly account for the massive pressure waves, each from from dozens of simultaneous torpedo blasts. Like depth charges, such pressure waves don't have to penetrate armor. The whole ship gets jammed and bent. Ship frames break and seams split.
I think was Prinz Eugen that was sabotaged at anchor in Norway. Several large charges along the keel went off almost simultaneously. The blast was reflected off the shallow bed and the whole ship raised up almost a foot. Though no visible damage or flooding occurred she never sailed again, presumably due to massive structural damage.
I sort of think that 50+ torps going off in a line like that would suck the ship down into the cavitation alone.
German ships in this video has torpedo protection X anti flood X krupp X and like 20in belt before bonuses. That or all of your torpedoes for some reason are using shape charge so their just burning tiny holes in the enemy ships. That would explain that 2% damage 47 torpedo salvo.
I made an american super battleship with 2*4 15 inch turrets and 26 inch thick belt armor with another 10 thick deck armor, and it had almost as many torpedos as this with a top speed of 30.
It is funny to see Imperatritsa Maria and a Stalingrad in one battle line.
Wow, okay, seems that since i last played the torps got whacked with the nerf bat, a couple of times.
Makes for a hilarious video but frustrating gameplay i think (but so was getting your 100k tonne supermodern uber battleship blown up with a single stray torp...)
16"+ of armor would have been enough to stop big guns with your Krupp V
20-30 was unnecessary
16 belt, belt extended, turret would have been great
The wait struggle is real!
30:57 The torps even sound like the katjusha missiles.
Bro you got my sub, road to 100k subs
Thanks man!
