    It's nice to hear a well known song with a different group; i like these voices, they are so different, so deep, very very good!

    I never get tired of hearing Vladimir Miller. He's a great Profundo. The other 2 men did great as well. All and all, it's a great video. Thank you theiliad2000x for uploading it. :)

    @inge787 Yes, it's Barcarolle, by Offenbach. The original song is meant for 2 female voices and they had three guys, super low basses sing it, doesn't really work for me... And they didn't even sing the words right (I'm French).

    @KevinBeach2 i believe the piano is the harmony and the words they sing are supposed to make you think about stuff. unless you speak russian your missing out

    OK, so what would you suggest as an alternative? Which selections specific to bassos profundos would you recommend?

    It's amazing, but often out of pitch, it's unfortunate...

    I do enjoy a bit of gratuitous bassing now and again.

    Why basses are always so TALL?

    • @FABCELLI
      @FABCELLI 8 лет назад +1

      the taller they are, I suppose, the longer are supposed to be their vocal strings

    • @MultiKamil97
      @MultiKamil97 7 лет назад

      fabrizio celli Not always. Zlatopolsky is considered the lowest bass voice that ever existed and he was quite short.

      Παναγιώτης Βελαώρας Not all basses are tall actually :D But most of them indeed are. I think it's because they've got more male hormones and i don't know, maybe more testosterone than usual which makes their voices really low and their bodies really tall? I suppose.

      I'm a bass (not a basso profondo) and I'm relatively short (1,74m). But I got the point. Most basses are 1,80m+ and I guess it's because they have "more body" for the low notes to ressonate. Some people say that it's probably because that low voice means high testosterone level which causes to affect the height as well. But I don't believe on the last one because there are men with high voices as tall as that with low voice. You can just check Andrea Bocelli (1,85m), Dimash Kudaibergen (1,91m), Luciano Pavarotti (1,80m), Adam Lambert (1,85m), Plácido Domingo (1,87m), and so on...

    A very interesting recording, but I can't hear anything special about these voices except that they are deep. The overall sound isn't exactly beautiful. Basso Profundos sound best underlying a deep, rich harmony of voices, not singing solo or in small groups.

    Aw man, they butchered it.

      you seem to be everywhere slandering everyone, wasn't it you that slandered Tim Storms with an overly jealous tone ?

    • @Lasse3
      @Lasse3 7 лет назад

      Wissam Khalil everyone? Tim storms is a baritone who mistakes Vocal frying for deep notes, fact. I can say that while being purely objective.
      These 3 men ruined the Ave Maria. That's my subjective opinion. Them being True oktavist's is irrelevant.
