Yes please for your BBB&E course. Really wish I had done it last year and have been waiting for the next time you offered it. Would be a great way to stay motivated thru the holidays and colder months.
I think it was 2020 RDA quietly changed the cholesterol limits. Cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern now. But they snuck that in. No one seems to be aware of this important change. THey still vilify the saturated fat.
So interesting you are talking about vitamins. I had to stop all my vitamins 3 days before my bloodwork this week..I went ahead and stopped a few days earlier than I needed. I woke up this morning feeling great. Joints, body aches no more. A more feeling of feeling good. 2 weeks ago I stopped my daily antihistamine. I looked up everything I was taking. A lot of it causes joint pain, and muscle aches. Even NSAIDs. NSAIDs even stop the bone-growth process and healing. Some of these pills (over the counter and under-the-counter) just prevent your body from healing on its own.
I'm so glad I found you guys 2KK's! I look forward to your lives on Monday and Thursdays! Sometimes I'm not able to make it live, but I always watch the replays. I have a question I'm interested in your perspective on: I saw at Costco they have canned corned beef produced in New Zealand. The ingredients are simple, except for one that concerns me. The only ingredients are beef, salt, and sodium nitrite. It's the sodium nitrite that concerns me! In your opinion, is that something I should avoid at all costs? Or could I have this corned beef once in a while, and I shouldn't be worried about it? Thank you! 😊
My opinion of RFK Jr. aside, I doubt that he will be able to make any real changes. There is way too much money flowing from these companies to the government to get enough support to make the changes that should have happened decades ago. I hope I'm wrong but time will tell.
The "net carbs" thing is a marketing scheme for food companies to sell products! It's not a real thing, just something to fool people into buying packaged products. The words "keto" and "net carbs" aren't regulated, and anyone can put those on a package and sell it. Also, I would encourage you to research into whether we really need fiber in our diet. Plenty of carnivore doctors have debunked this lie we've been told for decades!
That's net carbs, in Regards to some Veg yes but prepackaged food no. TBH total carbs is what should be monitored if doing low carb You don't need fiber on keto/ low carb just need enough fat to prime the digestive system lol fiber is not need nor can it be used it just causes bulky stools
@danield3459 Can the fat be from say extra virgin olive oil and fish mostly? I do not have a gallbladder and can not handle fat from beef for example without discomfort.
Check out Dr Ken Berry on that subject. You should be able to build up your tolerance slowly with no gallbladder. I do believe you could supplement with extra virgin olive oil, id utilize butter and heavy cream as well@@Angelo-ew9cs
The lighting is bad on this. Rachel has big shadows on her neck; looks like she has a beard. And the light reflecting off Joe's dome looks like horns. ❤
hi @2krazyketos - sorry I missed you this morning but I was actually sleeping - hello to everyone I missed 'seeing' on the live.

Thanks for addressing the lead in salt issue Joe. I appreciate you taking it seriously and doing the work to research and explain.
Thanks guys.

I would love to do the BBB &E in January. Also I love hearing Larry in the background. Roosters are awesome!

Which of the 00 flavorings should we get? The oil or water soluble?
we use both, water is better though
can you make the cold brew coffee but warm it up for hot coffee?
yes
I know I need mineral and iodine supplements because of where I live. But, it is hard to find these without other vitamins.
Where/what is this bread recipe of Rachel's
Does carbs minus fiber really works? I want keto, but would like to have enough fiber in the diet
