    The outside horizontal pipes are supposed to be on the inside so as not to damage the covering, I just finished set up of mine and started doing like you but thankfully read the directions and saw it!

    Hey Mack and Patti. Glad we found your channel We are on a small homestead and started our channel and having fun learning. We've been gardening here in central Texas for over 30 years and wanted to share with others the things we've learned. We were on a large homestead but decided years ago to downsize so we could travel. Looking forward to watching your channel. God Bless. Mike

    I cant believe Mack made Patti do the hard part and hold all those poles! LOL. I used cinder block on each corner and wired it to the poles to help hold my shed in a box down. I do have some spiral stakes if you need them just holler and I will bring them next time I come visit

    Love the Teamwork! I just bought 2 of these at 20x10x6.6 I am so excited. I had one before that was smaller and I took fence posts where each pole is and did a crossover with Paracord to secure it, we had a lot of wind. I love these greenhouses so much! It's my first garden purchase here! ❤️ I can't wait to see all that you do with it!!!

      I was curious if it needs another rail on each side of the top rail to keep the plastic from sagging in heavy rains. which could easily be added.

    Do you get high winds where you are at? We bought a similar greenhouse and it didn't last 24 hours. The fist gusts over 25 mph made it fold. Totally destroyed.

    • @SouthernBlessedHomestead
      @SouthernBlessedHomestead  Год назад

      We had some wind gust up to 70MPH once. I did add some concrete blocks inside on top of the frame poles to help hold it down. We also got 6 inches of snow once and the greenhouse withstood all that. I did sweep the snow off as soon as possible due to the weight. This is our second greenhouse of this model and we love it.

    Those tent stakes are really bad I suggest you use rebar stakes they have at home Depot. And in case of I wins and tearing of the of the plastic to Criss Cross over the top with like strapping the fiber strapping and hook them with the rebar too it's the best way. I used to do pow wows and a lot of vendors use that that way. And my tent with those tent stakes flew away just saying. God bless you

      Good advice thank you. I am thinking about putting a couple of ropes across the top to help hold it down.

    I hope you keep it in the shade. I received one for Christmas and put it up in February 2023 by and August 2023 we noticed all these little squares, between the green threads, were all over the floor. It was awful. I reviewed it on Amazon but was told it was beyond refund time which is like 30 or 60 days. Don’t buy it!
