Now I see why he was so pissed about Leno "overpaying" for Stuttering Johns services. John is POS but he would have never gotten the money Leno paid him. Stern is a highly insecure dirt bag, that part is not acting. That part at the end ? 24 years & get canned on the air ? Psycho
John’s a realtor now, spending all day either cold calling customers or going on random podcasts to bash Howard, his employer from 20 years ago… If he stayed with stern he’d probably still be there making money. He went for a payday, sucked at it, was fired, and now struggles to make ends meet. John’s an idiot. Howard knew he was a talentless dolt but was willing to pay to keep him. Everyone pines for old Howard but you can’t expect the same content from someone for 35 years. People change so a show changes. I still enjoy the show. Is it different? Yes. It’d be strange if Howard was still tearing apart interns at 68 years old.
gange is a clown he worked for free for a long time because he wasn't worth paying and he made a ton of mistakes he is lucky he was there as long as he was.
Howard kept the interns because it was cheap or free labor. Regardless of what their jobs were in the office, their real value was what they brought onto the air. They were characters on the show. Unpaid actors. They were at fault for that as well though. They weren’t paid and made no effort to leave.
From what I remember if you put in a vhs tape with the tab off and hit record the tape would eject instantly. I also don't remember a tape that would record for 6 hours, 2 hours I think.
Companies like to spring things up n people last minute.. my company decided to close a bunch of underperforming stores and rather than give them warning they just showed up and told everyone they’re being let go that day and good luck.
Howard made semi stars out of all the guys. Gange, Grillio, Stuttering Jon, KC and others. I thought they were all pretty funny and seemed to understand to show dynamic especially when Howard and the core group would goof on them. The story about Howard ending the relationship with the Howard Tv guys is kinda disappointing. If that is the way it happened I feel like Howard should have talk to them before dropping the bomb on the air. After Artie left and the show was evolving into a more PC climate I lost my taste for it and canceled my Sirius. Anyways love the old stern tapes on You Tube and these interviews with ex staff members.
Howard should win a Nobel prize for his philanthropy just for keeping baba booey and Jackie employed all those years. That charity alone is immeasurable.
This is how bad Howard was. He had every1 thinking they were nothing and he was the show. And actually every1 made the show and without them he would be nothing like he is 2day. He really is a miserable man!

I still love the Howard Stern show. People who get fired always blame everyone else but themselves. I'm sure there's 2 sides of the story . And he's only telling his side
Say what you will of Howard and his staff. But he is the only radio performer where anyone ever even so much as reviewed their practices as it pertained to their staff, firings, etc. Never mind having dozens of different people trotted out to talk for an hour about it. Not to mention as a guy doing radio, you're not the sole arbiter of who stays, goes, gets promoted, etc. Either way, there's nothing to compare it to since Howard is apparently the only guy who is on the hook for life for all these people's occupational trajectories.
Right?? It’s hilarious. If Howard worked for free to pay his staff more, everyone would still bitch at him. I have no idea why everyone seems to think he owes everyone who ever worked there some sort of pension.

@@arynrowland862 Not sure why that matters. Howard has been a multi millionaire for decades. It's not like the era Gange talks about Howard was broke, lol. He was already making millions
I wouldn’t call him a sellout. I would call him full.
Really kind of a dead end gig unless you were Fred, Gary or Robin. All of the staff were used for content. From the outside listening you really thought it was a closer crew. Howard is every bit as Hollywood as the shit he railed against for years. Hate to hear that.
When Sal cried on air for the he was retiring prank , those were real tears lllol . Stern making $80 mill a year & the punching bags are probably not even making median salary of the avg American. Kind of disgusting really.
Now I see why he was so pissed about Leno "overpaying" for Stuttering Johns services. John is POS but he would have never gotten the money Leno paid him. Stern is a highly insecure dirt bag, that part is not acting. That part at the end ? 24 years & get canned on the air ? Psycho
John’s a realtor now, spending all day either cold calling customers or going on random podcasts to bash Howard, his employer from 20 years ago…
If he stayed with stern he’d probably still be there making money. He went for a payday, sucked at it, was fired, and now struggles to make ends meet. John’s an idiot. Howard knew he was a talentless dolt but was willing to pay to keep him. He doubled his salary for about a year. And now he makes zero point zero.
We All Go Through The Same Thing At Work... They Pretend To Care About You... You Need To PRETEND To Care About Them...
well done
Love you Gange !
Good man!
Come on man, jonesin for some new content broseph!
Me too
Trust me I continue to try. Got some names you would like to see?
@@STWEEKLY scott eisenger (spelling), Robin Radzinski, Twisted Sister dude, High Pitch Mike, richard Simmons, Benjy’s ex, Gonzo shit cock, Jan ( eric the midgets caretaker) Stuttering John, Yucko, Imran Kahn. How’s that?
Scott
@STWEEKLY Billy West, Grillo..
Is it just me, or is there no sound?
I updated my app and it is fine
@@STWEEKLY thanks for the heads up. I'll try doing the same
I had no sound at first then I refreshed it and heard sound.
@@STWEEKLY I refreshed it and it's fine
Are you calling Gange a blowhard? 😅😅😅
He was always a target due to having the highest I.Q. and he is too handsome.
Who are u talking about?
Howard kept the interns because it was cheap or free labor. Regardless of what their jobs were in the office, their real value was what they brought onto the air. They were characters on the show. Unpaid actors. They were at fault for that as well though. They weren’t paid and made no effort to leave.
He was a total creep his whole time on the show.
From what I remember if you put in a vhs tape with the tab off and hit record the tape would eject instantly. I also don't remember a tape that would record for 6 hours, 2 hours I think.
Yes, there were different recording/quality speeds, ep or LP if I recall.
gange was lucky Howard gave him a life. He should be thankful his time on the show lasted as long as it did.
Go back and redo the audio to where you’re not whispering and Gange’s not screaming
I don't know. This interview was kind of a nothingburger. Nothing shocking revealed of any interest.
Eric was the greatest wackpacker.
facts...but Riley, and Hank was pretty cool too
I liked Beetle, HPE, and Bigfoot but ETM was great
@@justmissjamey for sure, RIP to those guya.
@@andrewsallee3060 they were all great. A brillianr set of characters.
@@reallyannoyingguyrighthere thats true. Really hard to pin point one. They all contributed and were great. Miss the old HSS
Companies like to spring things up n people last minute.. my company decided to close a bunch of underperforming stores and rather than give them warning they just showed up and told everyone they’re being let go that day and good luck.
Arite scott joke man and mike G wish they bring back for hiward reunion
I want those cassettes
Gange should have been fired at KRock
Sorry you don’t get to hear racism and rampant homophobia anymore.
I TOLD YOU NOT TO USE THE TAPE
No frickin way GAN-GHEEE
It’s pretty simple if you do not like Howard or the show you do not have to listen.
And I don't. For decades.
Does Howard still have a show? The show really ended when Eric the midget died. The show started dying when Artie left.
Agreed 100%. The only time the show was EVER funny after artie left was Richard and sals pranks, and Etm fighting with gonzo
This new version of the Stern show after already left is just gone down hill 100%
Umm no Howards show is hot garbage period talk about a waste of money Sirius must be mad
Gange....the 20 year Non talented, Unmotivated, BETA, F'up Extraordinaire who literally got outperformed by a random 10 year old kid. But that's okay because you did a 'damn good job"......NOT (just ask Jen)
They should contract him to go there and let Tracy yell at him every day for an hour.
Almost as boring as Howard's show but still better than howard in the 20s
Robin make $10mil a year which is such BS! Howard says he doesn’t kno what anyone makes but we all know that’s BS.
Right? Right? Right? Right? Right?
Sheesh, Gange. Still having trouble with communicating I see!
19:37 from start.. to finish?
Jus’ chippin’ ya
That gangie guy was so annoying. I couldn't stand any of the howard TV guys. Remember how long it used to take them to get things done?
After listening to this though, he's a great guy.
Top shelf licka
Dop shelve liggah
I still love the Howard Stern show. People who get fired always blame everyone else but themselves. I'm sure there's 2 sides of the story . And he's only telling his side
Gangs looks damn good for a man in his 50’s! I would have thought 36. Likable dude.
Do you have a crush on him?
Wasn’t it labeled ‘special tape’? Lol classic Stern!
Why not flip the tape and fast forward it a bit so not to lose any part of the shoe? Just sayin.
All these guys are still so bitter about not being on the show anymore lmao
