    But what most people don't realize is that this is what makes Travis Pastrana such an icon...he doesn't focus on his own accomplishments, he showcases everyone in the game. He invites people to come to his compound to get their name out there, to show him that they have what it takes to compete. Travis is an all-time legend.

    • @Degenerate124
      @Degenerate124 4 года назад +20

      Nah I’m gonna say your wrong. I’m pretty sure 90% realize what Travis is and what he does for his people. The dudes not only the gnarliest dude alive but he’s the most humble and wants his people to get a piece of that pie. The people who don’t realize that are simply brain dead or delusional 🤷🏼‍♂️

    The moment Sheehan landed the triple I teared up, then seeing Jed push through the pain and into clarity made me so inspired, to see him land it I clapped so loud (alone in apt). Then when Jed called his mom I lost it. Wow what an amazing rollercoaster of emotions!! The biggest most inspiring thing isnt the trick but the teamwork and unconditional love. You push each other to defy what people thought was even possible. Just wow!! Props to every single one one of you. I will never forget this documentary. Words cant describe 😢. Probably wasnt the best written comment but I just wanted you to know. Wow!! Inspirational is an understatement ❤ HalleluYah 🙏 Thank you Father for these wonderful spirits!!

    Just like every other athlete chasing that elusive title, these extremely brave guys put their bodies and their lives on the line to make history. I can't say enough about their skills and sheer bravery. My hat's off to you gentlemen. Thank you for your bravery and dedication. To fall off the horse, brush yourself off, and getting right back up, is a testament to your heart. That's what puts you up there with the greats like Tony Hawk, Travis Pastrana, Bucky Lasek, Matt Hoffman, and the great Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham. Wheelz is a great inspiration to so many people who are handicapped and is a great example of the heart that I speak of.

    For all you youngsters out here, when we all though backflips were impossible on a motorcycle, in 2000, our boy Cary Hart, attempted the very first ever backflip in competition. He over-rotated and wouldn’t successfully land the flip in competition until two years later in the ‘02 X-Games in Philadelphia. The backflip earned him a silver medal in Best Trick, right behind Metzger who managed to pull it off no-footed.

    As crazy and death defying as this is to everyone watching it. Those of us that grew up riding and racing BMX and dirt bikes, and that still ride, have a lot better idea of how scary, difficult and insane this actually and truly is. Physically, mentally, technically and mechanically. There are soooo many things that can happen or go wrong. A million and one things. And ANY of them could cause a catastrophic failure resulting in death. Props to you all at Nitro Circus.

      100% even the people who are into the sports but never had the skill to actually ride won’t ever truly understand what the insanity level ‘ skill level and every other level this takes to accomplish!

    I really hope that 50-100 years from now this is remembered. I grew up on TP landing the double. Went out the next day and traded in my CRF250 for a YZ125 because of it. I just hope that action sports are continued in the future

    Beyond Bravery and Skill for Humankind. Two artists managed to overcome fear, mind and body limits. Even though I don't know these people personally, I am proud of them and their accomplishments. Shoutout to all the crew members that made this possible.Congratulations to these men.

    As an 18 year old in the 90’s my dad was watching people attempting single backflips on MX an doubles on BMX an today as an 18 year old I watch triple flips on MX an quads on BMX. I truly hope when my kids are 18 they’re sitting here watching nitro bring together two more people to land a quad MX flip an at quint flips on BMX. Travis is truly a hero and a icon as well as the whole nitro crew.

      At some point there's a limit. I'm going to predict that we're coming close to the limit. Unless we have wires to protect the riders as they're flipping (like trapeze artists) or computer evaluations to predict exactly what can happen we're really approaching the limit. It's already a matter of life and death, unless technology changes we're reaching the edge of our mortal coil.

    And Smchidty just stomped the quad at Rwillys as the second person and on more or less smaller size jump.

      That blew my mind too. The fact these ramps were built for a quad and he nailed it off RWilly's setup.

      Keaven not only that he almost over rotated. Wouldn’t be surprised if he figures out the quint flip next. Heck he already has triple flips varials dialed.

    These blokes pushed it all to a new level in bike tricks going back to when I used to ride. I remember in 84 a rider on a YZ 250 tried doing a backflip. The ramp went straight up with about a 75 metre run up and then the curve straight up about 15 metres. On the landing was a pool full of water. He left the ramp, tried to swing in the air but only could get it a 180° then straight down into the pool. It was the best attempt back in those days. I was 14 at the time and thought that was crazy attempt but watching these athletes is a rush. Fkn unreal.

    I love this channel. These guys are true pioneers in extreme sports. They really are pushing the envelope when it comes to what’s humanly possible. I am amazed that they succeeded with the triple and stunned that would even attempt the quad and succeed.
