But what most people don't realize is that this is what makes Travis Pastrana such an icon...he doesn't focus on his own accomplishments, he showcases everyone in the game. He invites people to come to his compound to get their name out there, to show him that they have what it takes to compete. Travis is an all-time legend.
Nah I’m gonna say your wrong. I’m pretty sure 90% realize what Travis is and what he does for his people. The dudes not only the gnarliest dude alive but he’s the most humble and wants his people to get a piece of that pie. The people who don’t realize that are simply brain dead or delusional 🤷🏼♂️
i think it was quite risky for travis. i didnt really think he would land the tripple and was sooo happy he didnt die. if he would be dead travis would be in charge of it (my opinion)
@John Stamper I didn’t google it but I’m pretty sure you and I are both correct: I believe hart did it first at his practice compound but Metzger was definitely the first one to do it in a professional comp.
The height of that triple back flip ... the sound of the engine as it's rotating through the air. What an incredible moment, perfect filming and everything about it!
Just like every other athlete chasing that elusive title, these extremely brave guys put their bodies and their lives on the line to make history. I can't say enough about their skills and sheer bravery. My hat's off to you gentlemen. Thank you for your bravery and dedication. To fall off the horse, brush yourself off, and getting right back up, is a testament to your heart. That's what puts you up there with the greats like Tony Hawk, Travis Pastrana, Bucky Lasek, Matt Hoffman, and the great Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham. Wheelz is a great inspiration to so many people who are handicapped and is a great example of the heart that I speak of.
Holy shit, this video gave me goosebumps like 10 times!! No one understands the fear and balls it takes to go for crazy stuff like this. Not even stuff this gnarly. So much respect for these guys and overcoming their fears. Takes a crazy person to push yourself THAT far!

Cheers and kudos to all who played a part in making these amazing feats/achievements happen. You all played an integral part and played your part very well and I hope you all give yourselves credit because it would not have been possible without you. You are all very amazing people.
It's such a great feeling when you land something that you've been trying to do over and over and over again for so long. I think when you see your friend do the same it's equally as fulfilling. I love all this stuff. I grew up skateboarding it just stuck with me. Respect to everyone out there trying to push their skills
i had so many emotions during this video. i have watched you Travis and the nitro circus ever since i was 6. i am 16 now. you guys have made me feel like anything is possible on a bike and i have no fear of hitting any jump because of the motivation that i get out of your videos and your team is amazing. i wish i could be there with you guys and pulling off stunts to, even just to be there in the environment you guys live in everyday life. would love to have such caring mates like you and the crew.

i mean, sheehan has the amazing triple backflip but i think the entire video talks about Jed, after those failed attempts between life and death and finally he got the quad backflip, just inspiring to watch.. brought to tears for Jed, superhuman!
That was incredible! I became so emotionally invested in these guys & when he landed that quad I just started leaking from the eyeballs. Much respect to Travis as well, he is such a humble dude.
These blokes pushed it all to a new level in bike tricks going back to when I used to ride. I remember in 84 a rider on a YZ 250 tried doing a backflip. The ramp went straight up with about a 75 metre run up and then the curve straight up about 15 metres. On the landing was a pool full of water. He left the ramp, tried to swing in the air but only could get it a 180° then straight down into the pool. It was the best attempt back in those days. I was 14 at the time and thought that was crazy attempt but watching these athletes is a rush. Fkn unreal.
A perfect demonstration of the skill, courage and full send attitude of extreme sport athletes, how humble they are and how hard everyone around them works to help them achieve the unimaginable. Chapeau to them All. Rip Roner; smiling and omnipresent.
