Really fun video! I tried my best to answer before you guys did but some of questions were really hard! Haha! I got curious on Lecturio and it seems your code only works for the 3-month plan? Or could this be a geographical limit seeing as I don’t live in Australia?
alex held his ground really well despite not knowing most of the answers to cardiology (concept gaps maybe) but he understood the other systems really well despite only being a y2 med student good job!
Well to be fair 1st year medicine is mostly science like physics, biochemistry, some math, biology etc. In my first year the main medical subjects are First Aid and Nursing, Neuroscience and Neuroanatomy, Gross Anatomy. I guess biology/physiology could be considered medical but I am referring to the subjects that you wouldn't necessarily get in a BSc Human Physiology degree for example. Whereas in second year the majority of my subjects will be medical such as parasitology, mycology, immunology, histology, I think you get the point.
@@MDEmcee Oh we finished those basic sciences during our premed. I’m taking Physiology, Gross Anatomy, Histology, Biochemistry right now and Neuroscience last sem so it just frustrates me that even concepts that I just learned last sem seem to magically disappear from my brain and these dudes recall stuff just in a snap of a finger 😭
@@vj.castillo I understand, I am not too clued up on American medschool but do you HAVE to go to premed before medicine? Is there no way to skip that step?
@@MDEmcee Actually I’m from the Philippines! And there’s this thing called Intermed where it’s a 7 year program that encompasses both premed and med proper. :)

I’m only a senior in high school, I’m doing premed in college with aspirations of getting into medical school and becoming a physician. Some of these terms and concepts seem really intimidating 😅😅

I am not a medical student but I am preparing for medical entrance. But laterally I can understand some question regarding my syllabus ( approximately 2 or 3 question) . Soo yaa I enjoy this video . Best way to study .
I know absolutely NOTHING about the medical field or anatomy (outside of musculoskeletal anatomy...I study human bones), but I enjoy watching these still. Lol. Plus the accents!!! And Seb and Alex are so freaking cute.
That was really interesting, the questions are really similar to what we would have in France (which makes sense, medicine is pretty much the same everywhere, but still).

Wahh, I really could feel the fun because I miss the times where my friends and I would always review and ask questions to each other about the lesson we're going to take a quiz about. When we answer, it's like a competition and we would get pumped up just to answer first than the other. It personally really is effective to remember the lesson much better because you're actively reviewing it. Now we couldn't get to do that cause of the pandemic and they are from another class now. :(
This is so good! My Board exam for medical laboratory scientist is fast approaching. I was able to answer correctly some of the questions. 😅🤣 Thank you for this! This made me realized i am somehow prepared to face the Board. Hahaha. Mahal ka namin Seb! Ingat ka.

Don't worry, medicine isn't difficult because of its concepts in my opinion. The difficulty lies in the volume of the material.
