Thanks Craig. You were right. One of my connectors has a short. Was able to get the board powered up with just the filter pump connected. Tomorrow I will figure out which actuator or relay is bad.
Thanks. Is there any way to have it stop in 3 different positions controlled by the board? For example, in your case, water is either going 100% to pool return or 100% to spa return. What if you wanted to have those two options, but also have a third option where the valve stops in the middle so that half the return goes to the pool and half goes to the spa? Any solution for that without eliminating one of the first two options?
Thank you for such great video, if I may ask a question, one of the pool actuator wires got peeled by rubbing to the zip tie that was holding it. Could I just repair the wire or do I need to replace the whole thing.
I like it a lot nice video I am having problem with my customers pool and spa valves their Ortega 3 port vales. I have replaced all the the inserts but when I go to put the bypass on or spillway and then in the morning it's drained down to the water level it's a raised Spa I'm thinking about cutting Ortega valves out and putting in the Jandy 3 port valves I think the inside housing of the Ortega Valves maybe wart 1971 I believe.
Hello, I need your help, I change my board and now when I put in spa one of my valve not turn and my spa drain all water, I check both valve is working but board doesn’t send signal to turn valve
I want my intake and return valves to shutdown in the spa mode direction (not pool mode as your video shows) because of the elevation difference I have between my pool, spa and pumps. How can I accomplish this? with my AquaLink RS system?
There is no correct way to do this. There is a problem in the way your pool/spa valves are configured or one or more of your valve bodies has falied and/or you are missing check valves or you have a check vavle/s that has failed. I can help you out, however it is somewhat complex and I will need to see how your pool plumbing is configured and what is happening. You can call the office, give your information and I'll try to help you out
Im trying to assign a new JVA that will rotate when turning on the gas heater loop. Any ideas how to assign the actuator on this control board? I have two terminals remaining: the tried and fourth terminals
i have the same system, i had to factory reset it. how do i actually program the actuators to do something when a button is pressed? i have a pool with spa spill over and water features. 3 actuators total. suction, spa and water feature
What kind of automated clock do you have? Do you have an automated controller? If you do you hafe to set the times for everything to run. And inside your automated time clock you hafe to run the wire to the correct auxiliary
sorta worthless post - this is for plug and play use only, does not cover adding additional actuators for custom applications and programming them for something like a evap chiller etc..
This is a great video. Simply described and very easy to follow. Learned a lot as a novice pool owner. Thank you!

Thank you for your comment, we are currently working on a video for this exact question. It should be posted within the next few days.
Looking forward to seeing this!

Thanks mate, really helpful video.
Installing my first valve actuators next week :)
Good luck! Glad it helped.
What if your wiring is too long. It looks like a birds nest from the installer and looped around the pipes. Can you shorten them?
Well done - Thank you!
