How to find area of reactangle if the only given is the perimeter?

If you only know the perimeter there are many possibilities for the sides and therefore it is impossible to calculate the area given only the perimeter. We do know the maximum area possible is when you turn the rectangle into a square which is a type of rectangle with all sides equal.
