Yes, the gift of hearing this is a gift of faith that's prone to keep us keeping it! It's a pleasure to dig this deep sentiment and heart song together.
I was there! Fantastic show. "We can all be together, forever and ever
when we make it to the promised land".

555 angel number...
Best live JG album yet.
Nah, Electric On The Eel 1991 is the best so far IMHO. I'm also biased cuz I was 17 years old & just moved to Humboldt. But c'mon. Best Way You Do, best Lay Down Sally, Best TWILIGHT (R. Danko) !, See What Love Can Do!!!! If you were there that day, you'd understand my passion. Biggest tie-dye EVER seen before. Btw, Sasquatch has my back on this 1. He never missed an Eel show. On site camping with cute hippie chicks....dude.
I used to talk privately with Jerry about Jesus. Many may not realize that Jerry actually had a real deep faith in Jesus but he did.It was that light that lived in his heart that attracted so many people to him.I wish that he had talked about his faith more and snorted a little less cocaine but the loving person that he was was there for all to see.Actually I did not know that Jerry ever played Gospel like this.I sure wish that he had done more of it.I think that it has a great vibe! So let us start believing and heal our great nation! Jerry always believed that there was a chance for Peace.I miss him every day.
Uh?! oh please, I'm sorry, you need 2 add that (before '91!), Many others spoke with the phat man on his take on religion(s), faith & misdirected devotion. It was his havin' 2 deal with unreasonable expectations, placed on him by circumstance, that was 1 of the underlying causes of his exaggerated substance abuse.
@@agnome1176 No! The fact is that Jerry was terribly addicted. He loved cocaine and had the money. It is that simple and tragic. He could have easily reduced his habit any time that he wanted to because he had access to everything in unlimited amounts.I talked to him repeatedly about the problem and his only response was to snort another incredibly big lines
". . . .I talked to him repeatedly about the problem and his only response was to snort another incredibly big lines" wow! (8Balz& nevah had that sorta access!)
@@stephenhall11 YES! that and wave that way, that, & that there were others of us, also, who spoke 2 him of a higher calling! &, that, that 'calling' stemmed from . . .? Something . . (That is not 2 say that he did, or did not believe in a 'Higher Power" as he was unwillin' 2 commit...)
ALL 'ORGANIZED' Religion(z)" I do not want 2 attack anyone's faith or belief system, whatever gets you thru >~> you Do You ! I'll be fine burnin' here in hell!
&
didn't know that Jerry played "Church Music"?!
the entirety of the 'experience; the gatherings, the origins of the sounds, melding "kinetic sounds" with traditional instruments in jug-band type gatherings. . .It was founded on the same idea as the Gospel/Folk- the tent rival meetings . . . .
I never spoke with Jerry but I smoked his dope...it was really good!
