  • The Homesteader’s Large Batch White Bread Recipe! This recipe makes 12-14 loaves of bread depending on the size of your pans. But Wait! We didn’t make just bread! We made bread, buns/rolls, and cinnamon buns all from one batch! A very tasty and versatile bread recipe! One that I would make when my large family of children were little. And I even make to this very day when we have family home! This recipe came from a local community cookbook! It is an old, old tested recipe from days gone by! This is why it is called the Homesteader’s White Bread Recipe! This is a tutorial / teaching video and is detailed. Thus it is a long video! But worth the results! I even try something new with this recipe. So I really encourage you to watch the entire video. Even when I am kneading by hand I am teaching. Yes! Kneading by hand! A skill that is being lost with electric mixers being used now. So whether you are new to bread making or a veteran, put on some coffee and join me as we bake bread together!! I would love to have you in my home! ☕️ ☕️☕️
Homesteader’s Large Batch White Bread Recipe!

    1 1/2cup lukewarm water
    1/2 cup sugar

    3 tsp salt
    3 tbsp vinegar
    9 cups lukewarm water
    21 cups all purpose flour
Plus additional flour to sprinkle on your kneading area.
See video for mixing, kneading, and shaping directions. As well as the cinnamon bun recipe.
Bake in a 375 - 400 degree fahrenheit oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!

@@cathypeterson5106 yes it can be a bit intimidating. But if you have baked bread before, you will do just fine! And yes I always use this recipe during the holidays as well. And a fresh loaf of baked bread can make a great gift too. Thank you for joining me from NW Montana. I am very happy to have you here! Thank you so much for subbing and for watching! 💛
