Mate I'm more scared of the hired thugs. They're leveled and there's three of them, usually all wearing heavy armor. Assassins, while leveled, are too easy. Even with my stealth Archer build, I killed one with an ancient Nord bow and iron arrows with like, the first perk in archery
I've been playing this game for a long time and I never get tired of seeing its contents and there's always some very interesting detail like the death of the farmers. Keep up your content you are the best
I remember when I encountered this scene the first time. I was walking and exploring, and then I saw Cicero, his wagon and a Horse! So I helped Cicero and once the quest was complete I stole his horse and ran away. 😂 He even followed me for a while and then gave up once I started sprinting.
I mean, this all is interesting, but what on oblivion is a DAWNSTAR guard doing all the way down there? There's no dawnstar cities or outposts even remotely near, I'm not even sure if dawnstar even has outposts or other cities for that matter. Maybe patrolling the border? But one single guard, and Why don't we see the guards of other holds doing the same, to my knowledge, it's just this one random dude? Is he even a guard? Perhaps a stormcloak spy meant to observe the roads to whiterun from "afar" to check for signs of imperials going to the city? What is this one lonely dude doing there? There's literally a whiterun tower _directly_ next to the damn farm.
He's patrolling the border of dawnstar. Dawnstars land is pretty large hence why when you become Thane of dawnstar and they allow you to purchase land, it's on the southern border which is right next to that farm.
To be fair, we don't know how lucrative the Loreius Farm is. Actually, I think it's the only farm in The Pale. Probably makes it a valuable food source for Dawnstar, especially now with the war.
I made the mistake on doing this in my first playthrough..... went to the lorentius farm and was like "OMG HE KILLED BOTH OF THEM!" Never felt so much guilt for not helping cicero in my life. Now in every new playthrough I help Cicero out knowing that if you don't help him out and turn him in, this is what happens. Then I immediately join the dark brotherhood to keep them from chasing me down as I join guilds/factions and get stronger. Sometimes though, I dont even get this quest.
If you get Cicero harassed and kill the Dark Brotherhood the farmer lives. Best possible ending since you can't kill Cicero and throw the Night Mother in the Sea of Ghosts.
there's a theory going around that the little orphan girl in whiterun? She's the niece- or at least a relative- of Lorius and he kicked her out of her home when her parents died and if you look in the chest at the end of the bed in Lorius' house it usually has child-related things in it- kids clothes, a doll, etc things like that. Now why would he have that shit when there's only 1 bed in the house... and no kids.
I wonder if you accused him of attacking someone if he'd still say it's untrue or if he'd instead state his confidence no one saw him kill anyone and live to tell about it.
People are full of shit to say they played for so many years of time and still can't find everything not boasting but I've found most things an random in counters by memory sure I've looked a couple things up here or there but I can say I actually came across it
Question is does this interaction change the diary entry in Cicero's Journal? I know if you don't get involved he still kills the farmer. I'm now curious if her talks about being detained by the guards.
If this game were truly open world, you’d have the option of telling Cicero you know who snitched to the guard. Then tell him it was the old Orc on the road to Rorikstead. Interesting to see how that then plays out.
Even if I use a mod based off the infinite gauntlet balance the universe and wipe Cicero from reality he still shows up at the dark brotherhood sanctuary
Actually I did this quest like this but haven’t bothered to do the DB quest yet. And now, many in game days later, Cicero again has his wagon busted in front of the farmer’s house.
First time I played skyrim I actually did this and then later doing the dark brotherhood quest was shocked to see him out of prison and finding out he's a member of the dark brotherhood lol
Noone can look that still as the character in game does when making that much noise while talking. I bet the voice actor looks like he is going crazy while doing this.
One of my playthroughs, killed Cicero, he appeared back at the dawnstar sanctuary as if I didn't kill him... but I had his clothes... also do not know where shadowmere is in that playthrough either.
On one hand, Loreius was clearly right to not want anything to do with Cicero, but on the other hand he's a complete fool for antagonizing an obviously deranged man.

@@eaterofbooty1354 for me he ran into a boulder after the spell wore off tryna kill me
Never seen an npc drop so fast
Good one. Im curious what happened to a guard and if Loreius would be alive if you dont reported Cicero....
ya he lives if you chose to help cicero i think
@@zanderjones5388 Depends there is also a chance that you fail the quest anyhow and Loreius and his wife are killed anyhow if you fail to get him to help Cicero. Regardless of if you report a crime to the guard. I find having a high speech or getting the Amulet of Articulation from the Thieves Guild questline helps in passing the speech check needed to make sure the family lives.
Interesting info guys thx.
@@Razgar_Voxel You can't fail that speech check, it is set to impossible to fail. I just passed it with a speech of 18 and are pretty sure I passed it with lower skill.
Y’all want to have your minds blown, attack the guard when he’s arresting Cicero and see what he does...
Skyrim random world encounters are literally the best part of the game. I don't care what anyone says. Always the funniest moments.
yeah even the random bandit encounters that happen right after you just fell a Dragon right in front of them demanding your money or your life
When he says he respects the law it reminded me of how the joker said he didn't want to take on the irs cuz he isn't that crazy. And paid the debt collector.
Tbh it’s stupid to do this to Cicero. lorries is an asshole trying to get Cicero locked up when all he had to do was fix his wagon. Plus cicero was straight up honest with him like damn most brotherhood members would had threatened em not be bloody honest and ask for his help
That would be extremely risky. Dark Brotherhood assassins are not supposed to be stupid (except for Astrid, who believed the Penitus Oculatus would spare the Brotherhood).
cicero is absolutely evil, when I was finally able to kill him I did not spare him in any way, I ripped out his heart, drained his blood, and turned his lifeless corpse into a frickin bush
yeah my Dragonborn is an assassin but at least he does a quick death, cicero did not show mercy whatsoever as the guard says "so many stab wounds" its safe to assume by his personality that he made the guy suffer as long as possible before killing him and probably laughed the entire time doing it
@@theemperoroftea3001 evil yes but lore wise he isn’t allowed to kill anymore only as an act of self defense or to protect the mother in every case he only killed Someone in self defense or they pissed him off in this case cicero rlly wasn’t in the wrong the guy only needed to help fix his wagon and Cicero was willing to pay and judging by him paying us he has more then enough coin to make it worth the family’s while. Plus in a sense the guy is basically putting cicreo duty at risk which is all the more reason he killed em he’s evil for it but the guy was being stupidly selfish there’s only one guard protecting his house .
@@theemperoroftea3001 the biggest insult is Cicero is the only person by the wagon no one else so wat could he be smuggling alone in a heavy ass cargo nothing that’s wat
@@maysen51 sorry but I cant understand your comment, what about Cicero being alone at the wagon?
The fact that mid way the guard just looks at you like, are you hearing this shit?
If you don't love his voice you most not be from Earth.
Greetings earthling
I am a cyborg lizard designed to hunt down the last remnant of humans so...
2:58 Another clue that Cicero was in fact Sheogorath follower before being converted by the Night Mother\Sithis.
I knew about this on a side note I do find it funny that if you steal some items from the fisherman behind the 3 stones on your way to riverwood there is a chance he/she will contact the dark brotherhood to have you murdered 🤣 fairly common that they send thugs instead but the assassin one is always interesting since on higher difficulties having an assassin jump you is super scary despite them wearing light armor and using daggers
Mate I'm more scared of the hired thugs. They're leveled and there's three of them, usually all wearing heavy armor. Assassins, while leveled, are too easy. Even with my stealth Archer build, I killed one with an ancient Nord bow and iron arrows with like, the first perk in archery
I've played this game for thousands of hours since it came out and have never seen this before. Astonishing.
Ah cicero, the only chara i didn't feel bad sacrificing to boethia. What an awesome guy, without him, i would never have seen the end of that quest.
Enjoy keeping the night mother moist in his place.
What about Sven?
@@supersani21 ah, but that requires losing out on Faendal.
What about nazeem I love sending him to the cloud district IN HELL
Cicero: I would never disrespect the law
Says the homicidal maniac
I've been playing this game for a long time and I never get tired of seeing its contents and there's always some very interesting detail like the death of the farmers. Keep up your content you are the best
On my first missions into whiterun, I met cicero. Turned him over to the guards, then stole his horse.
I'm wanted now.
I remember when I encountered this scene the first time. I was walking and exploring, and then I saw Cicero, his wagon and a Horse! So I helped Cicero and once the quest was complete I stole his horse and ran away. 😂 He even followed me for a while and then gave up once I started sprinting.
Cicero is irony incarnate
After Cicero gets his revenge, the guard warns you not to go into the farmhouse, saying it’s a horrible scene.
Im the kind of player who preffer to kill both db and thieves guild, but filthy thief have plot armor
I now believe I have done this too.
Weird how I had no recollection of it.
In fact the guard seemed like something out of a DLC or mod.
Doing the right thing gets you killed, its easier to keep your nose out. A dark message from Skyrim indeed.
I hate how the guard is always essential and can’t be killed if you don’t do the quest even after the entire quest
Line
Cicero says he was accused of theft and is angry.
But what happens if you accuse him of another crime?
I discovered you so randomly and now I love your content what mod do you use for such a good looking gameplay?
I just love Cicero's flabbergasted "what?"
Another fun fact, if you don't do the quest at all, and drop by the farm after joining the dark brotherhood the farmer and his wife are dead too.
It's wild to see Balgruf disguised as a guard so he can "drink" with his people
I mean, this all is interesting, but what on oblivion is a DAWNSTAR guard doing all the way down there?
Dawnstar has Fort Dunstad and also had the Hall of the Vigilants. Pretty sure Nightgate Inn is also encompassed within Dawnstar borders.
@@CeruleanSword It is, Nightate inn is called Heljarchen nightgate after all, Heljarchen is in rhe pale for sure
The guard is talking to you like you're a defenseless person when you're the ducking DRAGONBORN... Had me rolling xD
His voice is my favorite along with Barbas' and that guy in the mind of madness quest
Honestly; I'd have just helped Cicero. Even if he was smuggling weapons or drugs, helping the guy fix his wagon wouldn't implicate you
there's a theory going around that the little orphan girl in whiterun?
She's the niece- or at least a relative- of Lorius and he kicked her out of her home when her parents died
and if you look in the chest at the end of the bed in Lorius' house it usually has child-related things in it- kids clothes, a doll, etc things like that.
Now why would he have that shit when there's only 1 bed in the house... and no kids.
No human can exist with this much depth of field
I wonder if you accused him of attacking someone if he'd still say it's untrue or if he'd instead state his confidence no one saw him kill anyone and live to tell about it.
I've been playing skyrim basically since it came out, have over 700 hours In it. I only just came across this quest a couple days ago
People are full of shit to say they played for so many years of time and still can't find everything not boasting but I've found most things an random in counters by memory sure I've looked a couple things up here or there but I can say I actually came across it
I just love how the guard looks at you
And it's like was that good?
I can just picture someone telling on us to the guards as well, whenever we pick a pocket or something lol 😂
“He uhm….. stole something!”
Jarl Balgruuf is disguised reliving the glory days.
This is what i did when i first encountered him taking it that cicero was a possible maniac or smuggler.
You were right on all accounts.
Question is does this interaction change the diary entry in Cicero's Journal? I know if you don't get involved he still kills the farmer. I'm now curious if her talks about being detained by the guards.
I don't think Cicero kill the farmer if you convince him to help!
If this game were truly open world, you’d have the option of telling Cicero you know who snitched to the guard.
Then tell him it was the old Orc on the road to Rorikstead.
Interesting to see how that then plays out.
Ah dear Cicero I love him, he's my favorite character
Some people may find Cicero annoying, but I honestly love him.
he's my crazy partner in crime
Love Skyrim. Even when you try to do the right thing, you never know if it'll do more harm than good.
"I would NEVER disrespect the law!"
**Brutally murders two innocent people because they ratted on him.**
*Guard talks*
Dovahkiin: WTF Balgruf what are you doing here?
The voice acting of the guard lmao
the guard keep looking at you ,so funny
The outro song is laughing at the farmers lol
Even if I use a mod based off the infinite gauntlet balance the universe and wipe Cicero from reality he still shows up at the dark brotherhood sanctuary
and when you go back to the farmers house you’ll see a gruesome scene
Love that guy, Cicero.
I made the connection he sounds like Spongebobs VA and now I can never unsee it.
"Someone lied! Someone told the guard poor Cicero is-... a lady!"
Happy to see this, well edited and to the point.
Honestly when I came across this quest I instantly turned Cicero in, after watching the video I am now gonna let him be
"I don't want to get involved in any of that!"
Gets himself killed after lying to get Cicero arrested
Damn, he just a stupid jester who likes to goofing around. But still, he's a master assassin and very dangerous
Noone can look that still as the character in game does when making that much noise while talking. I bet the voice actor looks like he is going crazy while doing this.
I would like to know what happens with Cicero if we kill everyone from the dark brotherhood. Would you make a video with that?
One of my playthroughs, killed Cicero, he appeared back at the dawnstar sanctuary as if I didn't kill him... but I had his clothes... also do not know where shadowmere is in that playthrough either.
well i'm glad i convinced loreius to repare the wheel.
On one hand, Loreius was clearly right to not want anything to do with Cicero, but on the other hand he's a complete fool for antagonizing an obviously deranged man.
