Interesting word ! I'm one who lives in an 'off-grid' cabin in the middle of dense woods. I cook over a wood fire whether on a stove or over a 'campfire'. I don't necessarily HAVE to rely on nature's bounty to survive but I choose to. This doesn't just include the wild fruits and berries I harvest but also includes wild vegetation as well. And I prefer naturally harvested meats over store bought any day. Some may complain about hunters and hunting but it WAS God who gave us dominion over the animal's. And harvesting from what is abundant is also a way of being a good steward of the land and animal's. I'm in my 60s and most days I get around like someone who is half my age. I very seldom get sick and usually metabolize it out rather quickly. I have 6 siblings who all live 'normally' and yet face laundry lists of health issues. So it's not my genetics that keep me healthy. Between a good relationship with God and a good relationship with the land and animal's I believe you'll find my secret.

I’ve been purchasing most of my food from a local organic farm. The food industry is designed to keep u sick. Pasture raised and organic is the way to go
The biblical way of thinking or eating basically walking through a field pulling the grain off the stock and eating it. Thanks for sharing this with us out here 🙏
Thank you Mary for a gentle reminder of how it all came ... to BE and how everything was CREATED with love, health and greater purposes. In a very real WAY, we are what we eat ... and HOW we 'treat' and tend. In the Beginning, God gave beautiful, healthy life.
My mother started tonight about the amount of pesticides that is used on flowers alone. Imagine, I had not even thought about the flowers in this respect...but true, we have a plight to try to live responsible, towards ourselves and others, including the animals. Praise God for giving us a heart to care, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤.

Interesting. I watched a short the other day about a movie named Temple Grandin. And how the woman was autistic but God gave her the knowledge, wisdom, ability, and insight on how to develop something that would help with slaughter animals.

Wow that is so right about serving the people today the greed is so intense that they have rewritten most of what the traditional ways were it's really sad because people climb up the ladder and they don't realize what their climb into when they're greed sticks out so deep they actually get a one-way ticket to hell so many times we overlook of what the word truly means the purpose we serve typically is for our own likings That's nothing to do with serving others you have made a crucial mistake all of us cuz the truth is when it all comes tumbling down it's tumbling down on all of us not just the ones that cause the problem❤

It's sad that you think you would lose subs over this, but I do know why you would say that. The Lord has shown me He definitely expects His children to eat organically grown food as much as they are able (and they are supposed to prioritize this over other types of discretionary/"fun" spending; for those who are truly unable to find or budget for organic food, prayer will make up the difference). I am not a vegetarian, but I eat meat infrequently as this is what the Lord has led me to do and it's also biblical (eating meat all the time was not common). Have you ever heard about the ministry "Blessed Earth" headed by Matthew Sleeth and his wife? Shalom & many blessings to you, sister!
