Bro there is a video say to use air mess sensor cleaner seems the Trottall body cleaner is not recommended corrosive I am not sure seems you have more experience it is ok to use as you did tq bro
Never knew this dvvt solenoid needed cleaning. Did it improve ur alza performance after the cleaning? And does the dvvt filter needs to be changed over time?

Tips: - OCV Filter bolt torque 17.1~31.9 Nm. - OCV Solenoid bolt torque 5.3~9.8 Nm. NOTE: • Be sure to completely remove any foreign matter that may lodge at the installation hole or oil control valve. • Prior to the installation, apply engine oil to the O-ring section and make sure the O-ring is not twisted.
It is a wire mesh kind of strainer. If it is not torn just clean it by pray with carb cleaner or blow with air pressure. Make sure not over tighten when install. The OCV filter union bolt torque spec. is 5.3~9.8Nm. Tip: If you remove the union bolt and you no filter attach to it, you can use a long nose plyer to fish out the strainer/filter.
As i said in the video, the perodua solenoid does not have a screen filter so u actually dont have to clean it. You only have to clean the filter. But if you always change your engine oil on time you only have to clean it after 8 years
